  1. I have one in my car which i may be removing over the weekend.
  2. it broke?
  3. you can modify the head + an external oil feed from the block to retain it.
  4. cars that were built before cats were mandatory can legally have no cat.
  5. The AFC's change the Airflow meter signal to the ECU and can not change the ignition timing. It tricks the computer into thinking there is less air than there is in the system so that it does not inject as much fuel, this should only be modified with a wide band o2 sensor hooked up or you can make it run too lean and kill the engine.
  6. ceramic intake and exhaust wheels?
  7. Guilt-toy's car makes 374rwkw while meeting emissions requirements.
  8. Given the exchange rate USD > NZD you could seriously look into getting a RIPS short/long block shipped over to you as they do a lot of builds for international customers.
  9. in the end if you just want 3L grunt + 4wd go for a 26/30 or a 25/30 combo. its way more bolt in than a 2j with effectively the same result.
  10. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ul...&hl=2jz+r32 32gtr + 2jzgte
  11. something that came off a rotary will probably have a huge exhaust A/R that is not suitable to a 2.5L piston engine.
  12. mine went so fast the bonnet flew up in one of the pictures
  13. Are you retailer for the vipec units now? if so what are you selling them for?
  14. My boss was speaking with your dad and brother and i got the impression it was running a 30 bottom end or was that another engine?
  15. today is the 6th not the 5th.
  16. The way the N1 pump is designed doesn't always fit the way people use them. the drive gear in the pump is made tougher but the process makes it more brittle bouncing the engine off the rev limiter/launch control rev limiting acts like the hammer action on a drill and the gear cracks and falls apart.
  17. k will bring UHF radio. wonder where i put the batteries
  18. Nismo 600cc injectors are probably better than the sards and will probably fit the factory fuel rail (no need to upgrade that unless the injectors dont fit money can be spent elsewhere thats more effective) My engine has arias pistons in it (havent started/finished it yet so cant say how good they are) lots of people seem to recommend CP, most of the jap brands will be fine also but probably more expensive. Spool conrods (www.spoolimports.com) not overly expensive and good for a lot of power. If you aren't going to be smashing the thing off the rev limiter an N1 oil pump will do the job, if you are look into the Tomei/Jun options as they are stronger. (Also if your crank doesnt already have the longer oil pump drive get that added if you are running an aftermarket oil pump. Greg from Pro engines in qbn does them for ~$350 fitted) Tomei poncams will be fine for 350kw. stock cams with adj cam gears will also do 350kw with a bit more boost required than the pon cams.
  19. To get the 10's on the front of a gts/gts-t and still have the car able to turn corners your probably up for a fair bit of work.
  20. Stock ECU? probably hitting R&R (rich and retard) backs off the ignition timing and dumps fuel into the engine as a safety measure to boost spikes and such. If you drop the boost to 10psi does it still do it?
  21. i went through the RBT. the officer was polite got the breath test over and done with and i was on my way.
  22. if the 3.4L stroker was available i wouldn't mind giving it a go. due to the displacement you wouldn't have to rev the engine to get a lot of torque and power but if you balance the thing well it should have no issues doing 8000rpm there are many RB30 engines doing 8000-8500 rpm how much more do you need?
  23. Is spool still working on his 3.4L RB30 stroker cranks?
  24. gympie to sydney. thats a quite a ride.
