  1. Just roll the guards. you don't have to pump them. Do you seriously consider it a major, or worrying job?
  2. -1 It's just people use gay wheels, and gay ride heights so they look shit. Toughest look can be with no kit and a proper set up.
  3. Yeah I'd never drive that either
  4. Silk Road RMA8s, BC (on a tight budget) or Cusco. That is all.
  5. Yeah the second car isn't Kim's Lewis. Her's has the series 2 front bar like mine
  6. I was looking for a white one originally, but my mate won this at auction and offered it to me I am still trying to find out the exact price the bayside was for GT-T, but no Jap text support on my computer makes it pretty damn hard haha.
  7. The pic above shows why you need around 10.5 +15 or +12. Possibly even more. When you lower the car, they'll tuck in, and with rolled guards they won't fill them.
  8. That doesn't say much for the people voting or the wheels that were there. I hope it's just clueless people voting for Chinese wheels over multi-thousand dollar lightweight race wheels. Contact Jesse direct on [email protected] You won't find service like him anywhere else and the prices will kill anything locally.
  9. Yeah speak to Streeter about your options. For stuff all more you can get Work Emotions, or CSTs or a host of other Japanese wheels if you like them
  10. No they're factory. Rarest colour of the lot due to the sheer expense of optioning that colour when bought new. I should know......mines the top one (though now with bronze XT7s) But good luck finding one. They're so rare at auction and a lot do go for high prices due to the rarity. Other thing is I believe they're only series 2, so mines a 2001 as is the other one in SA.
  11. Best person by far (well beyond RHD) is Jesse Streeter (www.jessestreeter.com). Better service and better prices too. He's the only person I buy stuff through when I need it for Japan. No-one else has ever come close.
  12. I seriously have to pay someone to clear up my headlights.....i so can't be bothered lol.
  13. That's the case with any stiff coilover My soft Bridgestone coils still lift wheels.
  14. Cheers mate. I keep waving at Skyline owners or giving the nod, but the car usually goes unnoticed lol. Time to give it a good scrub to make it glisten I think. 18x9.5 +12s all round
  15. When is it being finished? Looks unfinished without anything behind the guages
  16. What brand pod section are you using on the A-pillar? Most look like arse but that looks ok. I have to work out how to get my 5 Defi's into my car (3 centre pods, and 2 elsewhere) but just gotta suss options. Did any R34s come with a factory A pillar mounted guage like some S15s did ???
  17. The only coilovers better bang for buck than BCs are Silk Road RMA8's. With either you can't lose.
  18. Get the Cusco drag rod kit. Seriously don't stuff around with a new cradle. The electronic HICAS makes it literally two plugs to unclip and ziptie up under the car. Speak to Jesse Streeter (www.jessestreeter.com) to get some air freighted over. So much cheaper than you would expect and I run them on my car. Can't recommend the product enough.
  19. I was considering powder-coating my XT7s in black for my R34, but decided against it. Now you're making me think about it again damn you lol. But I must agree with previous comments......one of the toughest 33 GTS-T's around. Just needs that front lip painted black to finish it off
  20. Finally spotted someone on here. Saw the DOHMAH R32 GT-R driving up North East Road yesterday arvo
  21. 265s on the rear will be pushing it if you don't wanna pull the guards too. I'd personally go 235s all round, or step it up to a 10.5 on the rear for the 265 (what I'm looking at for mine now).
  22. Might have to bring the 34 out for a belt.
  23. Yeah I follow you All good. If the car is running at a height that has the tyres flush with the guards, how much camber can be fed into it with the factory adjustments? Any idea?
  24. 10 +18 will sit 6-7mm further out than the 9.5 +18. Rolling the guards flat is a simple job than is done with a guard roller or hammer. Usually around $40-80 per corner to do it. It's just rolling that lip up inside the guard, not changing the shape of them.
