Afternoon all, who else has put a LS1 into a r33 series 2? So far mine starts, runs, fits etc BUT how did you go getting the starter motor to fit with the steering arm? I bought the smallest starter i could find and lifted the engine mount on that side slightly but still no go. The last option is going left hand starter kit but was seeing if there was a cheaper way first!

hey mate, back to your LS1, im doing it myself in a series 2 r33. Pretty much done, all in all running etc etc How did you get the starter motor to not hit the steering arm!?

how do the fronts go with 9 +30?

I like the gauge idea. what does it read? Did it pass regency with the forward facing plenum? NDS how much was the app?

What ecu is this running?

very true! defiantly dont want to shift any power away from the low end. just putting together a list of items i want

do you know the other mods that went into this result? Would cams help in anyway etc?

I love the r1. Yes it's a beast but it's so smooth and beautiful to ride. I've been super impressed with the stinger. Has everything in it and goes well. Few mods has woken it upⁿ

2023 is the year of the 32. new paint job, new interior, basic performance upgrades. nice weekend car to put on historic rego.

Just recently ive bought full front end rubber kit, having the steering rack reconditioned, adjustable arms, new BC coils, and r33 gtst brakes n rotors. At this stage im unsure what to do engine wise. i have a spare 20, 25 and 30. 25 makes the most sense but id love to open the bonnet and see the little 20 in there.

my current daily, stinger my current bike r1 my track car 33

and thats where its sat.... slowly getting pushed back further and further in the shed. since then 2 33 gtrs have come and gone, a 33 gtst, still have my drift car but thats now changed from a rb25 to a LS1 etc (pic of my mates being funny back in the day, writing 2017 completion..... fast foward to 2023....)

i started it off quickly, stripped down the front to get everything to line up well

but i thought i cant leave it like this so my mates drift car blew an engine.... i thought here take mine while i paint mine....

i then got the bright idea to start to tidy it up. was trying out colours... didnt end up liking it

for a laugh tried on my 33 drift cars rims on it.... nearly

I didnt do much for a month or so but started collecting some parts genuine GTR wing, genuine carbon fuji spoiler flap, nismo gear knob, nismo carbon exhaust surround, enkies rpf1, roof spoiler, genuine gtr front lip, gtr rear seats

I used it for a few weeks and came across, back then cheap cheap GTR seats in top nic and also a genuine GTR bar, plus a standard bonnet

First thing i did was remove all the LPB and get it running well. what a power house
