Cobo_11: The parts I got (tried to point the arrow to) goes around the side, its a grey panel, not a black panel. Have a look on yours hopefully you can see the difference between them. I've got the panel that goes under the steering wheel on the pic, just above the carpet.
Pekatu: Sorry, don't have any aircon vents
ScarifieR: I do have that panel, its got the ashray on the back of the glovebox, as you can see on the pic.
MADGT4, Check your PM.
This is really really crude, but I don't have any batteries for my digital camera so it'll do for now. Attached is a photo of a stock R32 GTR interior, and the red arrows point to the interior pieces I have.
These bits include the Centre console piece with the glovebox/openthing, also the panel that wraps up around the side of the cluster/etc, the top of the dash surround, with the dials for headlights etc, and also got 2 of the strips inside the door as pointed out.
Cobo_11: I noticed theres a smaller plastic piece that goes around the shifter boot, which unfortunately I don't have.
Hey guys,
Got some things I really don't need lying around:
2 x R32 Tail-lights (White Surround, Ie Both Sides)
2 x R32 Windscreen Wiper Motors
1 x Passenger R32 GTSt Seat (On Rail)
1 x R32 GTR handbrake
Various Interior parts:
- Centre Console
- Part that goes around the dash cluster
- Part that goes around the centre console
And possibly (reluctantly)
1 x R32 GTR ABS unit
1 x R32 GTR Alternator
1 x R32 GTR Starter Motor
4 x R32 GTR standard Suspension (full set)
Just looking for expressions of interest on any of the above items. Give me some ballpark figures. You know what most of these parts are, but if you are interested I could get pics.
Thanks,
Rick
What are you guys whinging about?
The government has given the import industry a lethal injection. If cars like the Astra turbo and XR6T are not produced, where are you going to buy your turbos cars from? Or you'll keep your R33s for the next 20 years?
Food for thought. I think its a great move to see some of this new stuff in the marketplace.
And yes I know of a 500rwhp XR6T it hasnt taken them long
Fuse is only in the R32s as far as I know, you'd need a drag controller for the R33s.
The difference? Well RB25DE is a non turbo 2.5L, RB26 is god before it.
That and gearbox, interior, wheels, brakes, suspension, driveshafts, diffs, panels, etc
I know owners of these vehicles.
HSV quoted 13.3 for the GTS 300kw.
Two owners who have taken their vehicles down the strip have recorded 13.3, and 13.4, they are facts.
Wheels magazine cannot drive, and have never recorded quick times. Look at Motor, its a little closer to reality.
The VY series 2 have 285kw standard. That is the base model. They are claimed to run 13.6 sec standard by HSV, which with a decent driver should be matched.
Its hard to say what power you'd need in a Skyline to top that, but you'd need a few modifications at the least.
The VY series has improved significantly over the previous Commodore series, in performance, handling, and in build quality - I drive them, and all sorts of new cars every day for work, but don't let the facts get in the way of a good sledge
If your car is stock, his car will be much quicker than yours. If its a new VY ii R8, it will out handle yours.
Once you get modifying, you'll be able to turn the tables.
If you can find a second hand factory box, this will be the cheapest and easiest option.
(Odds are) You won't find an aftermarket box, and it won't be cheap. PAR make dogboxes, I think prices are around $3K (might just be the gearset though)
Wow thread revival...
Crooser... havnt seen you around for a while!
I recently reinstalled GPL, I only race "the ring" and after a couple of sessions im down to 8:13 with the Ferrari.
Its a damn challenging game! I love it! Steering wheel only of course
LFS indeed has incredible physics.... incrediably horrible
It just does not feel right... Netkar isnt too bad... GT-Mod for F1 2002 as well... but I still love GPL
DRIFTT? Nigel is that you?
So the bottom line: Does this mean a light accident repaired vehicle can be imported under SEVS/RAWS, but anything more (if its got a bent chassis etc) will not make it through compliance?
Hope whoever is buying has a GOOD buyer...
If you're after a really good quality place (5 star) to stay, I work at the Intercontinental in Sydneys CBD, heart of the action. It wouldn't be the cheapest option but I could do you a better rate.
Thats marios car, hes signed up on this board.
You'll find his site www.exvitermini.com
That twin turbo rotary, I think thats the one with the 4-rotor... made 950rwhp @ 17psi recently on pump fuel
I'd say $15K landed, but it could be another $4k for registration requirements, rego, tyres and engineer. Rumours are going around that they are making it harder and harder to pass and register imports.
Keep in mind all the good 89 models are priced similarly to 92/93 models.....
