  1. okay, got an easy-ish way to get 2.1 mil for michael early on in the game (just after jewellry store heist). Needs a little bit of cash to do, but I'm up to having done all the cars with only the cash on me; there's 35k after that but I can earn that quick enough. Takes a bit of time to do, but hey, on a second runthrough, I'm not worried about speeding through it. http://imgur.com/a/tevGp <----- locations of all the cars for the mission set. 1 - Open the internet browser of your in-game phone, go to the Epsilon website "epsilonprogram.com" and complete the evaluation - any answers 2 - A question mark will show up in Raton Canyon after a while. Go there. 3 - After the cutscene you will get an e-mail. Open the attached link and donate $500 to the Epsilon website. 4 - The Epsilon symbol will appear on the world map after some time. Go back to your house and save the game a couple of times until the symbol shows up on the world map. Go there. 5 - After the cutscene you will get an e-mail. Open the attached link and donate $5,000 to the Epsilon website. 6 - Go to the next Epsilon symbol (takes some time until it shows up on your map, go to sleep in your safehouse again). 7 - Collect all the vehicles and return them to the location unscratched - imgur album to help. Place to drop them will be on your map; a white double-garage. 8 - Go to the next Epsilon symbol (takes some time until it shows up on your map, go to sleep in your safehouse again). 9 - Complete the mission. 10 - Donate $10,000 to the Epsilon website. 11 - Go to the next Epsilon symbol (takes some time until it shows up on your map, go to sleep in your safehouse again). 12 - After the cutscene you will get another e-mail. Open the attached link and buy the robes for $25,000 from the Epsilon website. 13 - After the robes are being deliverd (takes 1 day), get them from Michaels closet. You need to wear them for 10 cumulative days. Keep going to sleep until 10 days have passed. 14 - Go to the next Epsilon Symbol, after wearing the robes for 10 days. You might need to take a few more naps before the symbol shows up properly. 15 - Complete the mission. 16 - Go to the next Epsilon symbol (takes some time until it shows up on your map, go to sleep in your safehouse again). 17 - Wander 5 miles through the desert wearing Epsilon robes. After that you will get a call, take it! 18 - Go to the final Epsilon symbol (takes some time until it shows up on your map, go to sleep in your safehouse again). 19 - Finish the mission. To get $2,100,000 and a gold medal you must kill everyone and escape with your vehicle.
  2. Yeah, I had heaps of trouble at first with Trevor - too much of a psycho, and how he treats people. Had to skip all his cutscenes. He seems to mellow out to just being weird by the end though, so it was easier to watch. Gonna have to run through again; can't wait for PC and 1440p and mouse aiming though! Stupid thumbstick. Would give up auto-aim for mouse any day.
  3. for final heist? dunno - i ended up using the people that cost the most for 100% sure completion (instead of losing shit like i did in the first heist by cheaping out), and doing the sneaky approach. ended up with ~20mil per character, plenty enough for what i need. i do like the idea though of doing a replay but not doing any of the assassination missions until after the main story if possible - can then spend massive dollars on investments instead of like 100k. ah wait here we go Hotel Assassination: Invest in BettaPharmaceuticals (BAWSAQ) before the mission. Look for a 40-50% return. Multi-target Assassination: Invest in Debonaire (LCN) before the mission. Look for a 80-90% return. Immediately invest in Redwood (LCN) after selling your Debonaire stock as Redwood will see a 300% increase within days. Vice Assassination: Invest in Fruit (BAWSAQ) before the mission. Look for a 50-60% return. Bus Assassination: Invest in Vapid (BAWSAQ) after the mission. Ignore any graphs or green/red arrows, if the stock value is well below the "low" value, invest. Look for a 80-90% return (I had to die once before there was any change to the stock). Construction Assassination: Invest in GoldCoast (LCN) before the mission. Look for a 80-90% return. the fifth one on that other list is a random event as you drive up the west coast - dude wants you to get him to the airport and gives you a tip when you drop him off; 30% return on it.
  4. hnng, just finished after a marathon effort today
  5. done!
  6. Anyone keen on doing a "crew" thing for GTA Online? Started one today - pretty keen just to get in and f**k shit up, drive around, have fun. PS3 here - i think it's platform dependant though Edit:: Plattsy - yeah, those instructions are bullshit. Basically what they're saying is once you're done with the main story and haven't done any of the assassination missions (Lester, when you're Franklin) after the first mandatory one, do them one after another, and spend all your money in stocks for the listed company when they say. So save your game before you do the first one that's next, find out what mission it is, then load back - go to each character and spend ALL their money in stocks on it. 1) Hotel Assassination - that's already done. Betta Pharma - on BAWSAQ I think. 2) Redwood Cigarette Assassination - Debonaire. Buy before you get the mission on all three characters, do mission, wait until you see it skyrocket, then sell it all in all three. 3) The Vice Assassination - Fruit/iFruit. Same as before, buy with all three, do mission, skyrocket, sell with all three. 4) The Bus Assassination - Vapid - Don't buy them first - after the mission, buy up big because they'll have plummeted, then mess around for a while, and check every now and then - they'll return to normal levels. 5) The Construction Assassination - Gold Coast - Same as the first two, buy up, do mission, watch it fly up, sell off. All three! 6) The Big Score - Gold Coast - not sure yet, not up to it - I'll do it and report back
  7. Hmm, wonder how they're going to go about that - ah well, I'm sure someone's thought of it.
  8. I seriously have no idea where it's meant to go to-from - I just want the trucks off Canterbury Rd
  9. GOD DAMMIT fgsfds
  10. yep jake, that shit doesn't fly with SAU - anyone doing burnouts on one of our cruises finds themselves very quickly disavowed and then a phonecall to the police. as was said, we've got a good relationship with the police (we almost got a HWP to come out onto the texi pad once), and we like to keep it that way - we're there to enjoy our cars, not be idiots. glad you had a good time though!
  11. EOI on razer scooter and blue headphones swag
  12. Once we're at Casula we can have a chat and go from there, I guess.
  13. As some advice - if you see someone being a dickhead on the road and potentially endangering others, no matter what car they drive - pull over and call the police assistance line on 131 444. Let them know the details of what was happening (car type, colour, registration; not too many details eg. BA MK2 Falcon XR6 - just say blue ford falcon) - if an officer sees them soon after, they'll pull them over and give them a bit of an earful. Like it or not, we're all part of the greater car "community", and there's always muppets. I'm all for name and shame, but these people also need a bit of the powers-that-be smackdown too. Use the above responsibly though. The police have a pretty full job as it is, and only give them a call if you honestly believe a driver is endangering others with their actions. SAUNSW (nor any other car club) endorses being an idiot on the roads, and we try very hard to encourage people to use their cars in a responsible manner on the track etc, and get it all out there.
  14. It's pointed out because people like this on the road is what gives the enthusiast community a bad name, and hopefully with a bit of name-and-shame, these people will pull their heads in. Sure, there's other bad drivers out there, but when we're trying to change the public's opinion of us, having people driving like this just isn't helping.
  15. space saver skids ftw
  16. As long as there's somewhere to put my leg up I'll be fine; might need to scrounge another chair outside then.
  17. Awesome, thanks heaps, I'll play it by ear on the day. Totally sick of not walking though.
  18. All good thanks! So yeah I'll need picking up in Liverpool. I'll pm you my number so you can let me know when to haul my ass downstairs.
  19. Can someone get me from my place for the Casula meetup and then a trip down and back? Currently can't drive, and all that. Keen to come. (will need room in the back seat for my crutches though) (also wanna be inside at foods if possible)
  20. Awesome videos and pics everyone - was a great day! Massive ups to the exec for organising and running the day!
  21. Yeah, tried to imagine in my head how it'd all work to link up... couldn't do exactly what I wanted, but was pretty happy with the result!
