The smell of the exhaust fumes is something else. It seriously burns your throat and singes nose hairs. Wish the skyline had that sort of effect, without the running costs of course. Damo

The road to jenolan caves is awesome for the first part, then its becomes not much more than a lane as u head into the valley. Good day drive from sydney. The best road I have driven is from Cairns to Port Douglas. Its right on the coast, apparently it has the highest amount of turns per kilometer in Australia.

Has anyone heard of any problems at the Castle Hill Towers shopping centre. I am always parking there and quite often when I get back to my car the motion sensor has gone off. Probably due to thumping exhausts on other cars though. As for Liverpool my girlfriend has twice had her CD player stolen from her car and its only a Ford laser. Funny thing was last time it happened she could not start the car, thought some wires must have been ripped or something. She called the NRMA and they found that the gearstick (auto) had been knocked out of park. And yes she is a blond.

What is the 1100rr??? If u r talking top speed I think the ZX12 is the quickest. As for 1/4 mile times I would like to see the new 1000 fireblade (coming out in a couple months). I think that will have to be the quickest of the superbikes. The GSXR1000 is probably the quickest at the moment.

I will usually let my needle fall below empty and then I can only get 55 liters in and the warning light has not come on at this stage either. Guess they want to scare people into filling up by giving a pesimistic reading.

Seems a lot of people have had problems with the radius rod bushes tearing etc. (Just as I did) The mechanic told me when I had mine replaced that they quite often fail by 60,000kms. Those of u that have replaced them, are u getting the stiffer ones or the stock ones from nissan.

I had the front bushes replaced in my car and noticed a difference in the turning response. It was a lot quicker and sharper. The stock ones were shot, had tears in them. I got the polyurathane ones (i think thats what they were made of) and they are a lot stiffer than the old ones.

I love their looks, performance, handling and ease of modding and working on. They are still rare enough on the roads to have that head turning factor (even more so when the wheels are spinning). Its also an all round car, can be good on the track or cruising down a freeway to thrashing though the mountain roads. Only negative thing I can say about it is the 180km speedo. I mean my girlfriends car with half the power still has a speedo over 200. I think it takes a lot of the wow factor out of the interior. My firebalade (CBR900) has a speedo of 300, when showing people the bike this was always the feature that really impressed them. Even if the bike was only good for 283kms. I guess it can always be changed though.
