This is a great place to slide around and have low stress on your tyres and vehicle. Because there is low numbers, that means you are not sitting around all day waiting to have another go! It is normal to burn between 1/4 and 1/2 a tank of fuel. PM me if your interested or just add to the thread!

Yvonne, If you are looking above and to the right a little of the skid pan on the map. That is the go-cart club, and their track. It has not long been opened! NO CARS! sorry. I'd love to have fun on that too. The whole complex is owned by ROADCRAFT. EUG, We do a few differnt things on our skid days.. Sometimes we use that part of the track. There are VERY strick rules surrounding the use of it, they are set by RoadCraft. But we can use the corner if we meet all their rules. I'll PM you! J-Boy, Payment details sent! Any other thoughts? Cheers. Aaron

Your welcome back ANY time Dan! Bring as many freinds as you can! As Dan said, It was a great day.. The next tech session has not been set yet, but I'm thinking along the lines of throttle control.. ..or something. I'll keep you posted.. Yea that Macca's sign has caugt many a Big Mac lover off guard! ohh, I'm thinking of changing my pineapples position for the next skid day! I was getting massive amounts of rear grip.. it was a handful! Think I'll set them up to drift instead of grip! There are only 16 spots available, 6 are already paid for! First in, first served! If you don't pre-pay, you don't play. The 18 May is a Friday! Thats the Gympie show holiday. You may need to take leave or have a sickie to come.. But it will be worth it! Cheers. Aaron

If you are serious about circut races, don't even think about the 3540! If i was to put my car on the circut, the 3040 would be very slow out of the corners and would cost me heaps of time while i waited for it to come on. Its the torque that gets you out of a corner! if u can get out of the corner fast and keep a good smooth line, then u will be consistant. Put on a laggy turbo, then the it gets a lot harder.. The rear tyres will cop a hammering when a large turbo comes on and produces a massive amount of torque in a very small amount of revs. the smaller turbo will come on smoother and deliver a strong torque curve over a wide rev range. Even though you will have less top end power.. you will be WAY faster! The mid range torque of the smaller turbo will walk all over the laggier turbo's. The age old addage.. 'horses for courses!' The GT30r would be a very good choice!

a GT3540 is goin to be laggy! I went for the GT3040. its a little slow to come on, but worth it. the GT30r would come on a lot better
