  1. go the RWD action.. lots more fun Have you ever tried donuts in a car that has over 200rwkw? FUN FUN :burnout:
  2. hey troy, are you able to get your hands on kits for the 33, side skirts / rear bar etc? if so, im interested.. drop me an email - [email protected] also, if you want some proper digital photos taken of your car, let me know, and i'll do some for you.
  3. Im with YLWGTR on this one, I think the thing on the roof is an air purifier, and the lights that 'projection' thats shines on the 'screen' could actually just be a directional light to make it easier to read maps, or notepads while at night or day etc.. thats my 2c
  4. I'll grab the side skirts off you. check your icq.
  5. Classy. Nice Ride. Tell your mate with the silvia to remove that aweful peice of tin stuck to his boot
  6. As long as I get a year out of them I'll be more than happy.
  7. Yea I understand that.. but what sort of milegae can I expect from the FM901s? I dont think wanting 30,000ks from a set of tyres to to excessive.. lol
  8. I do beleive the shape is going to be similar to that.. the logos ahve definatley been photoshopped, its not uncommon for companies to do this with release pictures, as they wouldnt have put a badge on prototypes.. I dont like it though.. the r34 GTR is the grouse
  9. I purchased my car through prosperion.. It does work out quite a heck of alot cheaper in the long run, especially insurance wise. For young people, who are earning a decent SALARY, then its awesome. Note: you must be on a salary, or have some sort of salary sacrificenovated lease with your employer. ICQ me: 12886924 if you want to know more. I also think JiMbO on these forums works for them
  10. Check out this thread on tyres Tyres I have the 25540s on the back, and 23540s on the front, its an awesome setup, and doesnt ride harsh at all, with the purchase of my new tyres i'll have a similar setup.. try and keep the profile the same.. is there any reason you want 45s on the front and 40s on the rear?
  11. Well I think i'll decide on the dunlop FM901's does anyone know what the milegae on these would be like? I would like them to last at LEAST 30,000ks.. they arent tooo soft are they?
  12. Well ive got an SAFC, and I had the stock BOV venting to the atmo.. but it ran like dogs balls. It did sound pretty funky though.. but yea.. it didnt perform as well on boost. So ive plugged it back in.. I might just buy a proper BOV and get it tuned.
  13. Thats a nice install mick, what sort of gains did you find from the cooler? and what did you pay for the kit? - ex
  14. I blocked off my standard bov plumback pip, and let it vent to the atmo.. sounds pretty good.. but seems to be running rich, and not as responsive.. I think ill have to fiddle with the safc to get things right again.. or... just plug the thing back in
  15. awesome... well my work has budgeted me 100 per month for tyres.. so that 1200 a year.. so if they last me a year (and im sure they will) then i'll be right.
  16. Im thinking of spending about 1200-1300 all up. also.. ive heard from multiple reliable sources that skyrines perform better with 255s on the ass, and 235s on the fronts..
  17. Well the time has come, only about 2 months after fitting the new clutch, ive some how worn my tyres out to an almost un-driveable state:confused: .. which isnt good for going around corners at 'interesting' speeds. At the moment.. I have a set of 'near bald' 255s on the ass end, and some pretty cruddy 235s on the front.. so ive opted to go a whole new package that will hopefully help me in all round performance, handling, and durability, not to mention a set of tyres that have a decent mileage. But where do I start? well I went down to the local beaurepaires and he showed me two sets of tyres he rekons are the shiznt.. see below. Dunlop Formula FM901 And Goodyear Revspec Now im not really that big on tyres, and dont know too much, but it did seem that bearepaires only really stocked dunlops, so of course they'll be biased, as thats where theyd make the most $$. What I need to know.. is what is a good tyre setup for an r33? I have been told 235s on the front and 255s on the rear is an excellent combination, it just needs the rubber to match the power... So.. can anyone help?.. im looking to buy in the next week.
  18. I accidenty did that as well when I first got my car.. ive got a HKS EVC in it.. and I didnt know how to read bar.. so I set it to 1.5bar thinking that it would be ok.. the thing was crazy.. but lucky for me the evc has some sort of cut out, started beeping at me after a few seconds put boost back down to standard.. but for those few seconds.. HOLY BOOST BATMAN I want more mods
  19. Thanks for that, I'm actually shipping part of a bodykit, so it shouldnt be too bad, as it doesnt weight much. Do they all do COD?
  20. How has it been purchased as a company car? usually they can be classes as fleet vehicles? maybe insure it under a fleet insurer like allianz or soemthing
  21. What couriers freight services to you guys use to ship parts interstate? I'm currently looking at getting a few things from someone interstate, and just chasing up my best possible options. It will be from Sydney to melbourne by the way Thanks.
  22. well it seems little more resposnive, nothing fantastic.. and nothing to rave about.. but we'll see in due time. i'll wait for the next dyno day to get my safc tuned again.
  23. ahah, I think ill just buy a bung of some sort... id think the coke lid would melt?
  24. I can imagine mate.. when mine was off the road for a week coz of the clutch.. I was pretty pissed off chuck in an rb26dett
