yeah LH was stripped of his victory at Spa becuase he cut the corner (at the bus stop chicane) and failed to yeld position. I remember this well because it was a real close quarters battle because the rain was coming down on spa and they (LH and KR) was battling for the lead, KR broke early and LH took advantage but KR wouldn't yeld which forced LH to cut the corner to take the lead. LH gave the lead back to KR on the front straight and at turn one, LH passed and went on to win the race (KR crashed out). Stewards investigated that incident and gave LH a 25 second penalty moving him from 1st to 3rd. What do you think of Jean Todt becoming FIA President...why Mr. Spanky (Mosely) throwing his support behind him? from what I've read, Ari Vatanen has also thrown his hat into ring for the job.. Personally I would like to see Ari Vatanen be president...someone who's not from F1 and be netural....If Todt became president...you can see all the Ferrari haters come out and say that the FIA will protect Ferrari

Illegal Import Help!
BigDirtyJase replied to vice5500's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
I hate to be the poor sucker who buys the car...lets hope he's done the research and found us (meaning the website) or have friends tell them about the car. I still can't beleive that this fool was trying to buy a VIN Number....fool From my experience...my mate recently brought a VY SS and wanted to trade in his old VS Commodore...dealer wouldn't take his old car because it was repairable write off. He never knew this (car was brought from a car yard about 6 years ago)...I know this happened alot back in the day but I'm not so sure now (mainly because there is alot of red tape to get a repairable write off back on the road) -

Federal 595's are going to be my next set of tyres. I had a set of Falken fk451 when I brought the car but they had about 80% tread and had to change them because one went flat and fromt tryres started to delamante (one had a nail in it and the other were super worn on the inside). Currently I got a set of Lexani LX9100 on...Only because I didn't have enough money for Federals. they were only $110 from the local tyre shop and they are not too bad

Yeah I've got a Cooling Pro cooler as well and had the same issues with the AC Fan. Although I first thought I got the wrong one (I got the R34 one because the Stagea one was not around). The only issue I have (which is most likely due being an R34 one is that I don't have the bottom tabs bolted up because they are not located near any bolt holes. I'm going to make up a bracket for it so I can mount it correctly But other than that (and some small issues non cooler related) it's goes well

Well I would say PS3 for the pure fact that they reigon free. You can buy a game from overseas and be about $20-$30 cheaper (inc. delivery) where as the Xbox360 is region locked so you can't get some games (MLB 2K9 I really want on X360 but it's not coming out to Australia and it's reigoned locked to the US) The Graphics on both systems are marginlly the same - some has better qualities than the other.

Who Has Factory Cruise Control In Their M35?
BigDirtyJase replied to mxfly's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I didn't know that they came standard or an option on the M35's - I know the C34's never had them the only thing I heard about cruise control on the M35 was that Chris Rogers was installing a aftermarket system in a M35 and needed a M35 to be a test mule -
This is from the Nistune Website - The R33 ECU's are a type 6 board The last time I can remember the price for the R33 Daughterboard is about $1200 and has to come in from Japan

It's good that they (EA) are shifting the series again...this time to out and out racing - trying to compete with Race Driver GRID. NFS: Most Wanted were very good as it was open world and sent me on a thrill ride but Porsche Unleashed is my all time favorite - manily due to me being able to blast around in the 959 (it's my favorite Porsche). The games physics were very good and was the first time you can customise cars and look nice. I don't like the silly autoscupt on the newer games because the options are very limited Don't forget there are thre new NFS games coming out this year: NFS: Shift on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, Mobile phones and iPhone. Release date September 2009 NFS: Nitro on Wii and DS. Expected Release date sometime in 2009 (Most likely Christmas time) NFS World Online on PC. That's looks very interesting as it's an MMO (can't anyone remember Motor City Online??). Set in Rockport and Palmont (from NFS: Most Wanted and NFS; Carbon) and what even better - it's a free to play MMO game. It will have cop chases, co-op and team based cop play and whole bunch of cars. It's still unknown at this stage if it will have day and night cycles (hoping they do) - Expected release date - Christamas 2009 (Winter 2009 for our northern hemisphere people)

WOW - didn't know Chaser's do Nistune...another option for me, Although Trent at Status Tuning is the highly recommended, it's simply too difficult to get over the other side of the city to get it done (at my work, I can't take time off because we're short staffed). 2 of my friends got their cars tuned up at Chaser's and spoke very highly of them

It's going to be a highly antcipated game....I wonder if they been spending time, tweaking the graphics and gameplay but also securing licences and modelling licenced cars

What Do People Think: Weather Shields Or Not?
BigDirtyJase replied to Houdini's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I would say keep 'em on, but it's your choice at the end of the day. I've got mine on my C34 and it does look cleaner with them off but comes in handy on rainy days If you do take them off, keep them somewhere safe so if you need to put them on again you can -
I stand corrected! You're right Typevu - I got that that detail from a website. It's kinda true if you overlook the series (which some people will) but to look at it where it really sits: Game - Year Setting - Protagonist Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - 1964 - Naked Snake (Big Boss) Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops - 1970 - Naked Snake (Big Boss) Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker - 1974 - Naked Snake (Big Boss) Metal Gear - 1995 - Solid Snake Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake -1999 - Solid Snake Metal Gear Solid (also The Twin Snakes) - 2005 - Solid Snake Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty: Tanker Chapter - 2007 - Solid Snake Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty: Plant Chapter - 2009 - Raiden Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots - 2014 - Solid Snake (Old Snake) Note: the new Metal Gear game - Metal Gear Solid: Rising - is a spin-off fromt he series (the "Tactical Espionage Action" tagline has been replaced by "Lightning Bolt Action")

TPG Tech Support is from Manila (I think they only do 1st level support). I'm with Internode and been with them for about 4+ years and i've only had 1 dropout connection that wasn't self inflicted (the tullamarine exchange got flooded) but other than that it's been rock solid. Yes I'm paying a pretty penny ($100 for 40gig on 8 megabit connection) but the service relability is great and tech support is excellent. Alot of people like TPG because its cheap and have high usage. Personally I don't like peak/offpeak plans. For someone like me where i'm at work 5 days a week, I wouldn't use peak usage much and completely use off peak usage with downloads. I rather have a flat usage plan that I can use my usage whenever I want. Also TPG don't do B-PAY which is a major turn off Go to Whirlpool and check out the forums. especially read this: Whirlpool's Australian Broadband Survey 2008

I would safely say that the list will be updated to put the 370Z on the banned list. If the 350Z is on that list then the 370Z would go in there as well. This is because VicRoads will see this as a High Performance 6 cylinder car It would be ludicrous not having the 370Z on the list but the 350Z was

It all depends on how much you want to spend. Unlimited plans are hard to find these days Internode are really good but a bit pricey....but the price you pay you get back in really good customer service and service reliability if you really want unlimited downloads and don't care about speed (which is highly unlikely) - you can go with dodo - they have 256k unlimted for $45 bucks *runs away and hides for recommending a dodo plan*

Fudged Tyre & The New Bling
BigDirtyJase replied to EvoMitchy's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Well I'm not saying the are Falkens (the pic that Micthy has at the top). I had the same issues on my Falken tyres -
Fudged Tyre & The New Bling
BigDirtyJase replied to EvoMitchy's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Yeah I had the same issues as well with my last set of tyres...I had Falkens on mine...but the tyres had about 75% tread when I brought the car last year. I'm guess it's comes down to tread wear. Doesn't AWD skylines/stageas have a issue with inside tread wear?? (damn...which reminds me, I need to change those blasted castor arm bushes again) -
Game looks very good...The Singleplayer element needs to be expanded this time round, COD4 was too short for my liking. With end of year release, it's either this or Operation Flashpoint 2

Badges, We Don't Need No Stinkin Badges, Or Do We?
BigDirtyJase replied to Houdini's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
My car has been partially de-baged (brought it like that) The car doesn't say stagea anywhere on the outside of the car. all there is left is the RS-FOUR and Stagea unicorns on the front and the RS-Four sitcker badge and the nissan badge on the tailgate. the only "badges" I've put on is the small Monster Engergy Drink logo (the green claw) on the rear windows where the old stagea uincorn sticker badges were
