But all the Hamilton bashers will say its the first race and everybody fell down around him. But I'll say well done to Lewis for finshing up so highly. Kudos also goes out to Glock, starting from pit lane and finish 4th is good...But one driver that I would say had a really good drive was Sebastien Buemi of STR. He diced with the big boys and finished 7th for his trouble (for someone that it's his first GP and drive that well on race day - after being 2 seconds a lap slower than the field during practice needs a pat on the back)

I can remember 2 great lies 1. When I was looking for a Stagea - looked at cheap S2. asked the owner if had been modifed and he said no it haven't. Went out to look at the car and could see a nice hole under the battery tray where piping for a FMIC went - asked the onwer again if has been modifed and still said no - looked inside the car and could see marks where gauges were and a boost controller. Took the car for a drive anyways and ran like crap (His response was its going in for service tomorrow - car was running with no boost). When the guy put the car in the garage - I could see a Greddy FMIC with piping, Drift Gauges and A-Pllar Pod and a Greddy Boost Controller sitting on the bench - I just simply ran for the hills 2. Went with a couple of mates to look at 180SX (my mate just rode his off at the time). met him at highpoint. looked at the car had a body kit on but was installed very dodgy. He said that he was taking the installer to CA to get his money back. He said that the car was A1 and never been boosted. Popped the bonnet and found a spark plug in the EGR Valve port and found a boost tee. Mate the next day took the car to RE Customs to get it checked out and all the electrics were shot. Mate offered 10k guy turned around to him and said "you won't get a car looking this for 10k". Mate walked away and ended up getting a R33 instead

Well done for Brawn GP for getting the 1-2. Let's see what other sponsers they will get other than Virgin since there have done well...They will be up there until the big teams improve their aero packages. They will be alright for Sepang. I don't beleive that Vettel should have got a 10 grid penalty and the fine...it was a racing accident...Vettel should have gave way for Kubica but in the same way Kubica should have gave more racing room for Vettel... Also it's a Mercedes 1-2-3 as Hamilton has been promoted to 3rd because Trulli was given a 25 second penalty after the race for passing Hamilton under the safety car this is going to be a crazy 2009 season

Max Safe Awkw On Stock Internals?
BigDirtyJase replied to HARDCORE's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
how much boost are you going to run? I agree with VSpec-Boy - from the setup you are going to put in - you should eaisly run 250 - 270 awkws IMO it would be also dependent on how much boost your going to run I'm installing a HKS 2535 on my car (the only other mods so far are Stealth FMIC, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, Bltz Boost Controller and soon to be installed Nistune ECU) and I've been told I can get 235-250 awkw at 16psi so you should denfitely get more with your setup My best advise is when its all installed and in the tuning process - tell them what you want to get out of it and they should be able to tune to pretty much what you want -

I got a Mongoose MAP80G on my Stagea...If you want to installed take it to Stylin' I highly recommend them...I don't how much they charge for supply and fitment (I had my alarm re-wired by them). I got reccommended to them by Chris Rogers. so yeah -
Hmm...if you looking for kebab vans You got the one on the hume hwy - near ford - they are pretty good....You've also got Pitstop Kebabs in Tullamarine - they are very nice. There is one in North Melbourne where the car wash is and they are pretty nice If you want something other then Kebabs and its not a late night, Melbourne Kebab Station is alright but I would say Glenroy Kebab House on Pascoe Vale Rd is really good

The new system on pure race wins is complete an utter crap....It just means that drivers will be going for the win - all the time putting themselves and their car at risk. A champion (in my eyes) is how consitant he/she is thoughout the season. (The last time I can remember a person winning a championship in any form of motorsport without winning a race was in World Supersport (Motobikes) back in 2001 when Andrew Pitt won the championship without winning a single race. He consistantly finished where the race winners were crashing out all around or finish very poorly). So Looking at it very loosely (and maybe stupidly) say for example Massa wins the first 7 races and then has a horrible 2nd half of the season (where he finished out of the podium and had crashes) and the other are shared between the top line drivers (say Webber, Alonso, Hamilton, Kubica and Räikkönen all had 2 wins) but were more consistant for the enitre year...Massa wins the title due to more race wins...It goes to show that this system is flawed. For sure it would be more exciting for TV but it's just as dangerous because towards the end of the race you going to have drivers going to do suicide overtaking moves to win a race What they should have done is increase first place to 12 points to put a greater importance of the race win...

yeah my office was shaking - though one of the guys in the warehouse crashed into the steel beams below...but having read news.com.au guess not

yep but still...that's still a good price if your prepare to to spend the extra money to maintain. If it was an S2 then I would consider it

Well I'm still in the hunt for suspension - I've always wondered about the ISC N1 Coilovers. Has anyone got them installed and how are they. I looked at the standard setup of 12kg on the front and 10kg on the rear is a bit harsh but Ryan at ISC told me then you can change them prior to purchase (either 6, 8, 10 or 12 kg on the springs) what would be the best spring rate in your opinion

Whats Mr Rudd Paying For On Your Car?

Nistune ECU and possibly a PS3 -
Eric Bana's XB Coupe he's had that car since he was a kid and rebuilt it for Targa. In a recent interview on SEN (Sports station here in Melbourne) they asked him where is the XB Coupe and he said that it is still in his garage smashed (from the targa accident) and hasn't gotten around to fixing it as he needs the itch of racing to motivate him to fix it up His parents still live in Tullamarine and I use to the XB Coupe (when it was in its original form) out on the street

What a pain the ass to clean up...It really looks like somebody f**ked up...or did it for shits and giggles One thing though - do you get the perfume/cologne bottle on the dash Show car - needs the plates - CR3AMD to go with the custom artwork! lmao

It's just Nissan Australia being predantic...there is nothing wrong with the car...I don't hear the same story coming from Japan (I could be mistaken)

hmm...380RS sounds nice...but it just reminds me of the Mitsubishi 380...it's the first thing that comes to mind but nevertheless..if nissan/autech made a Stagea 380RS - it would really give the Audi RS6 Advant a kick in the pants and a run for is money. I'm not a big fan of the M35 rear but the quad pipes at the bottom does set it off a little bit

I could see Senna as a test driver with the Brawn team (at last check they don't have a test driver)...and let go race another year in the GP2 series

Amen to that...I was reading this and looked at the carsales ad...if it was a legit "S-Tune" (although I my opinion there is no such thing in R33 models only the GT-R N1, the super rare Nismo 400R and the even ultra rare Nismo GT-R LM Road Car) then there would be paperwork, build plates and other little things to make it stand out from the pack (as what most people have said here)...The owner will supply 12mths reg - how will it get past RWC without the front indicators (and it looks like that have never been on). Also if it was a legit "S-Tune" or something...you'd keep it in better condition that what it is now (also the veilside style bonnet doesn't do it for me) (one is only assuming...the engine bay is not that appealing) In terms of hoon laws - the car will be reset to zero strikes as the car will have a new owner (got a mate a vicroads who told me this - basically if the guy buys the car back again say after a few months - vicroads will check it out and see he was a previous owner of the car with strikes on it so it would automatically have what strikes it had on it)...but it still doesn't mean that cops will not notice you. In my eyes there is a reason why he wants to sell the car. Also with all that work done on it...he may know about cars and mods and stuff...or he's just a regular joe blow who just blows money away for upgrades I would seriously shop around first...for me a car like this with alot of mods - unless the car is well maintained with receipts and records, there are more trouble than what they are worth...You would be able to fine one a little bit cheaper but also in a better condition (forums here are good start) that's my .2c

No but I've also seen a Subishi WRX Ralliart Edition (guy has got a big ralliart sticker on the front window of a 2000 WRX) - let's just he's gets laughed at...quite a lot -
Well The Brawn-Mercedes team will need sponsors (since I don't know how Honda got through the last two years with their Earthdreams stuff)...Richard Branson could drop money into the team but i guess it would piss off ferrari...they would whinge that you can't have two teams with red cars...blah blah blah But...for me I need to watch the first couple of GP's to get use to the 09 cars. it's so radical in terms of changes and design of the cars. I reckon it will a be another tight championship year...it's either going to be Hamilton, Massa/Raikkonen (depending who's got more points and team orders later in the year), Alonso and Kubica. I also think that finally this may be the year the Webber will get his first win...and I really hope that Brawn-Mecerdes team will be competative...I really do feel sorry for Jensen Button.

How silly can you be...that's just degrading...there is a guy around my area driving around in a lancer with a evo 7 bodykit...but has a nismo sticker on the back window and the old school 80's style nismo sticker on the door...go figure -
even with a relocator kit - it can still be messy (I have a relocator in mine)...makes it eaiser to get the filter on and off...I always have a rag on standby for spillage as there is still some oil in the relocator

hmm..they (Trutrack Suspension) are in North Melbourne near Suspension City...I'll have a squizz and kick over some rocks (right now i'm just looking at prices - don't have the money to get them right now)
-
hmm..yeah i'm going to try other places as well (with the execption of centreline - last time i spoke to them they just kept pusing for coilovers, nothing else - told him about SK's setup and still wouldn't bunch) how much did you get yours Ryan? (wish i had the cash and knew you had the SK Shocks - would have brought them of you...oh well too late)
