  1. THAT SOUNDS FUGN TUFF! My exhaust has copped so much damage (hole in headers, crushed resonator box and I think there may be another leak somewhere) what when it starts up it almost sounds like a straight through exhaust. Once the engine is warm it gets is RB rumble and just sounds awesome!
  2. Ummm... HELLO!? Anyone spotto the Full carbon S14.5!? *drool*
  3. WHO IS GOING TO ROCK YELLOW GUM BOOTS WITH ME!? I may get a mate who is pretty handy with an air brush to paint "Good" on one boot and "Vibes" down the other and get people to sign it =]
  4. I have the same thing. Now as far as my understanding goes (and dont quote me on this, im sure someone can shed some more light on it) but it loops the powersteering system to trick the car into thinking its complete as you bypass the hicas system. Is this true? I had a quick look the other day (I still have to get a lock bar so im in no rush) I think it loops the system right near the powersteering canister. Or am I completely wrong?
  5. Nah man! VW Golf GTi Mk2! 190E Merc Their old, yes. But its your first car. You want something with kinda cool! YAWN! R31.. How many of those do you see!?
  6. It wasn't a major set back, but it was just another thing we had to deal with.
  7. Problem with that is you'd have to mate the block to a front diff. This would be an absolute nightmare! I too toyed with the idea of an SR in a 32 but its simply not worth it. An SR in an S13 is fine, its a light engine in a light chassis. Skylines need the enxtra torque from a 6 banger and cc's from 25's & 26's. They are a fair bit heavier. A GTR weighs what? 1400kg? Yes there is more weight but you need the extra poke and torque from an RB. You would have to spend a little money on an SR to keep up with a RB26. An SR in a stripped 32 is a different story. Thats just my veiws on it..
  8. Just keeping the thread alive. Have run into a few problems; Injectors - 25 are too small etc. Problems with the coolent outlet fouling the clutch fan But we are alsmost here with answers!
  9. Go on a big hill and rest it on the handbrake. Does it roll back? There is your answer
  10. THAT PHOTO IS SO STOLEN Clicky (Ihave been looking for an excuse to use that
  11. Man.. Everytime this thread pops up it makes me sad thinking how much money I have to spend on stupid things like uni and how much of that I could be spending on the car..
  12. But before you stroll into the first store or web site and tell them you wanna buy, have a look for second hand items. They are a buttload cheaper and good quality parts in good condition can be easily found.
  13. Dont quote me on this: But I found this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Gt...amp;pid=4078718
  14. I too am a fan of the stretched look. I have run 225's on a 6.5in rim and a 205 on a 8in when drifting. With the stretch it does feel tighter and more responsive in the rear. I think thats the only performance benefit. Less sidewall flex. The bonus is of course their also cheaper. Drifter pushing a decent amount of power will go through 5 or 6 PAIRS of rubber in a drift day and still need more. It becimes very expensive. So even a little bit of saving due to smaller sizes adds up
  15. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Po...sp-t194033.html Alot of us have put in alot of work into that

Something like a Regamaster's: Or in the Nismo LM-GT1 Now problem is I dont like the LM-GT1 and dad has set of regamasters. Does anyone know of any ofther wheels along these 5 spoke lines? Anyone know where I can find old school race wheels like this? Thanks in advance guys!
  21. Yeah, his polyurethane pineapples were set up for less grip inder acceleration to spin the rears easily. I couldnt comment on a grip set up. Bang for buck, their pretty solid invest, especially as these cars are begining to get old and the stock bushes often are warn and soft. I wouldnt say ESSENTIAL for drifting but do help out.
