  1. OHHHH! Thats URAS 34 is PORN! Im jelous!.. I want a photo with Nomuken! Thanks for the photos Michael!
  2. Im not expacting a MASSIVE increase in power, as a final figue. As Michael said, the differences should be huge. As there is 1.5m less of intercooler pipeing and individual throttle bodies the turbo will spool quicker, reach peak boost at a lower RPM and be alot more responsive. More responce means I have a widerpower band, more usable torque and power at lower RPM. Please bear in mind this is going in a fairly light R32 too, not a bulky R34.
  3. Going to throw something a little out of the blue: No? All leather, all electronics.. all sex..
  4. SOLD! Sorry to ll those who missed out!
  5. MOAR!
  6. Cos I havent won the lottery yet..
  7. Hoookay.. so.. update! Photos of the finished head, all filing, grinding etc completed. Did also some minor porting & polishing, mainly removing casting imperfections. The face was also machined. Please note that the "kink" at the top of the RB25DET head port needed to be enlaged too. Note the stud which replaces the original bolt on LHS of the water port hole. The coolant outlet was chopped and re-welded, having now the correct position and clearance against timing belt cover, plenum, VCT solenoid and fuel rail and clutch fan clearance issues. Note the outlet is at a greater angle than before The 'air balancer' above the manifold had interference as shown. Same for the bottom of the water gallery under the manifold, which required bit of filing as well as grinding the head of the LHS bolt. More grinding on the block, the thermostat housing and the top bolt to ensure clearance with the water gallery below the manifold. The yellow water tube on LHS was also rotated few degrees down due to interference. As you Can see there is very little grinding required. Decided to use at this stage the NEO injectors and rail, to be able to start and run the engine on the stock ECU and iron out any other 'bugs'. The injectors have been modded as shown, with nozzle sitting now in same position as the GTR injectors. The rail brackets are also being modded with more photos to come shortly. Long term will push for more kW with GTR rail, adjustable fuel regulator and aftermarket ECU (ye ol' faithful PFC sitting at home) The NEO oil cooler interferes with the air box below the plenum. Most likely we'll replace this with a GTR oil cooler, although down the track an external oil cooler will be fitted. Will most likely have to go with the GTR AAC valve, as the NEO one is very different. Yes it was possible to thermo fans, GTR rail, injectors and play around with the ijector impendance but that would be adding a considerable amount of cash the project as well as adding extra injector problems.
  8. As above, post studs and brakes. +1 for turbo converted to NA
  9. No 4 door..
  10. Last ditch effort. $280. Firm. Going on ebay soon.
  11. ^^^ I have a set of the HSD's Dan's talking about about. Top bit of a kit at not a bad price either! And they are both damper and hight adjustable as well as spring preload adjustable..
  12. Early model R32's do not have the reo bar in them.
  13. Rain included, one of the best! I think one of Fatboy's tables farked out half way through.. which loves donkey wang.. but what he did play blew my mind.. Presets rocked my socks. Deadmau5 and Stanton Warriors were awesome at the after party..
  14. I fully agree with Watanabe's being an awesome old school rim!.. But they suit a smaller style car. I had a look on their website. Im not liking my options. Small sizes with not enough dish in 5 stud! 4 door's make them look small and pansy. Im very keen on a set of meshies. To run meshies you have to run a crazy offset. Which means you have to roll the guards. Which isn't a massive issue. But its just another thing. Tyre wear on the rear is also a bit shit at the moment with camber wear being the killer. Im assuming after getting a larger set of 17's, id have to lower the car further, creating more neg camber. So Ill have to look into some adjustable rear camber bushes or arms. Where did you get your meshies from Dori? Im loving those SSR Casablanca's! Any ideas on prices? Offsets? etc. And the advans didnt even cross my mind aye! Bit they can go horribly wrong on some cars. I have seen a couple of people selling some wed sports rims very similar to those you put up, but in 5 spoke with a carbon fibre kid of print on the black spokes. Im going to keep looking through yahoo auctions and what not and post up my finds.
  15. Dont start your life in debt. A couple of my friends have done this. Big mistake. While the rest of us are free to go out, have a laugh, go to the pub, movies etc. he has to do over time. A couple of us are thinking overseas soon. Overtime. Moving out? Over time. His life consists of nothing but uni and work. I havent seen him smile in months now. Your still young dude. Dont throw this burden on your shoulders of of just yet. There are HEAP of half decent fun cars out there under 7K that are awesome to drive. As said before. Budget alot more for rego, insurance, service, maintanence a year for the car.
  16. their pig ugly. Dont get me wrong!.. but nothing a can of Matte Black wont fix. Their fairly heavy too. Some dodgey twin 5 spoke wheels. Here comes the kicker.. WITH DECENT TYRES! Just a set of drifties.. thanks for the advice! Ill swing past supershit and Repco etc and have a look soon.. Thanks Linton!
  17. Quick side note, Could you pm or post some close up photos of how the fog lights? If you could be bothered. Cheers mate, Cris
  18. Your getting your pants pulled down over the price.. Search the for sale sections. You can find them second at a FAAAR cheaper price. Call up some Jap wreakers or Places that import half cuts. Or upgrade to Z32? 1 grand is rediculous
  19. GTST blinkers dont line up properly in the GTR guards. So f it was a GTST one, you'd know about it.
  20. Linton, Is this for wheel nuts that smaller in diameter than the stock ones? I have a set of wheels I bought off ebay for $51 (BARGIN!!!) and the stocko wheel nuts are too big in dieter to fit in the hole of the rim where the nuts go.
  21. ^^^^ Exactly my point. If you drop an SR into a GTR your going to get a lighter but slower GTR. Drop ATTESSA and you get a nice, light and balanced 32 GTST
  22. YES! Thats what I was trying to explain without very good results. If you end up stripping the entire system could you write up a lift of what was removed from where? And rough weight? Cheers mate, Cris
  23. If you start parting out the engine, PM me. I may be interested in a couple of parts!
