Beacause and NA Auto Supra is a HEAP more unique mate! At least these boys are building something.. and their drifting with Australias best.. which is far more impressive than your key board worrioring is. Rule number 1 of almost all forms of life.. you never bad mouth any one for their efforts. What have youa complished in your life?.. Even half as much as them? Didnt think so.. Keep your rude and unproductive comments to yourself.

Went down the a couple of weeks ago after not going for a while and Im loving the new smooth road! Stage three is the pick of the lot! Awesome technical tight corners.. And uphill stage one.. But as said before.. just be carefull.. We all have seen or heard the stories..

Rear driver side qaurter is the ATTESSA pump. There are also a couple of pumps on top of the diff.. dont touch those.. they are attessa pumps..

After driving several of these, a 2.3L just doesnt have enough power. In all seriousness mate, your GTST would give you more thrills. First time I planted my foot in a 230 I thought to myself, "is this it?!".. I used to work at Merc and drove 95% of the current merc fleet. 320 is the one you really want mate. Mercs can be a pleasure and a pain in the arse to work on. Usually, when a car comes into the workshop (a merc dealer that is) you plug in the diagnostics program called STAR. Then the car tells you what it needs, (brake pads on front, etc etc etc.) which can make it a breaze to work on them. This though is what makes them such a pain in the arse! All the ECU's in the car (and beleive me when I say there is an ECU for almost everything in it) all communicate with one another. So what appears to be a fault within one area of the vehicle may be caused by a seperate operating system. This is not too common but usually takes many man hours of diagnosis in the workshop. Take a look at what Audi, BM and perhaps even Alfa options are. I have never worked on either of them.. but you may find something you prefer from them around the same price.. Besides.. you just cant beat itialian styling..

the money you would spend on a SOHC you could spend on a DOHC and get as much, if not more power with a better responce..

But they rev to twice that! A rortor on full song sounds amazing!.. Like a swarm of pissed off killer beez in a small jar! Power delivery is so smooth in a well built rotor too!.. and when you think its all over, you realise you still have 3,000 more RPM Im glad people are realising that rotors are not as people think.. people are just sheep.. And no.. they dont need to be re built every 10,000km

dont spend only $600 on a system. Hunt down a second hand brand name exhaust system if you want a nice sound..

As Nath said. The amount of power you can extract out of an aftermarket is completely dependet on the mechanical modifications you have on done to the engine. Limited mods + ECU = Little power extracted. My 2c is to get the entire intake and exhaust replaced Have a look also at front facing plenums-intake manifolds (Aftermarket, new brand name ones can be found for ~$1200, second hand brand name are considerably cheaper, non brand name (have a look Just Jap) are cheaper still or the ghetto home made ones which will just shorten the intak length for better responce and dirt cheap. In stead of a full stand alone ECU, have alook at an APEXi SAFC. And spend the rest of money on suspension.

My 32 GTS4 box does the same.. To slow down my changes.. I put in the clutch, shift into neutral, clutch out, in then change into 4th from 3rd. 5th to 4th is generally a bit of a bitch to change. I try to avoid it, if I know im going to go into 3rd, ill just skip 4th. You'll need to brake earlier into the corner because you dont have the engine brake to assist you in slowing the car down though.

This is a stupid question.. But what are steering rack spacers? What do they look like? How do they work? Are they similr to some sort of shim? How do you install them?

Thats all well and good. ATTESSA will be stripped soon enough.. rip out the front diff and use a RWD sump. But once thats happened.. what can i do for more lock?
