  1. The wait is finally over guys! This is it - the one of a kind RB25DET NEO with GTR plenum, NO adaptor plates! Engine fired-up no probs, now taking it easy for a while to run-in the head and make sure there's no leaks etc. The engine asks for a tune-up. Latest details of the mod are as follows: - Used the standard GTR air box, AAC valve and air regulator under the plenum (for last two, harness modded with connectors to suit). - Used the standard GTR water tube under the air box and water hoses to suit. One outlet from the water tube was plugged. - Used the standard GTR blow-off valve setup. - Ditched the Neo oil cooler/filter holder as it interfered with the air box and used instead a standard oil filter holder from any RB20/RB25. - Used for now the NEO fuel rail and injectors. Will upgrade later to GTR rail and higher flow injectors. - Used the NEO TPS (throttle position sensor) with adaptor piece as seen in the photo. - Used the NEO boost sensor (connected to the plenum). - Ditched the throttle motor and sensor (NEO traction control system). - Ditched the carbon canister purge solenoid and connected the canister through one way valve to the GTR factory port. - On the turbo side, used a Turbosmart elbow reducer 3in to 2.5in to connect the turbo outlet with the GTR air tube More pics to come!
  2. RB26 injectors and remeber reading somewhere about 26 cams too. But m not sure about the solid lifters in 26's
  3. Dont know about the other two. But yes, the GTR bonnet is aluminium.. its about half the weight of a GTST bonnet. Bear in mind you need mdify the GTST bonnnet catch or get a GTR bonnet catch + assembly to fit to GTST
  4. If your about t pay $500 your getting your pants pulled down over the price! Its possible to find second hand springs and shockies of brand names for under $200
  5. +1 for hair dryer..
  6. Thanks guys! Ill just slip the clutch as much as possible while getting it to the car park and put the clutch in around round-a-bouts.. Hope it all goes well! The last thing I wanna do is root the clutch packs..
  7. Its not impossible to find LMGT4's in 5 stud.. they are pretty aye wateringly expensive though..
  8. Pull out the fuse in the engine bay fuse box that said 4WD or something of the sorts. There will be a "4WD" red light the goes on the gauge cluster. WHAMEE! Your locked in drift mode!
  9. It just seems like when Webber makes good progress.. and acctually is in a good possition.. he stays there for a couple of laps and then just snaps and ends up in a tree..
  10. Hey guys! Im looking for a song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uP9v7VTm33c...feature=related Im assuming its by Crookers/Crookers mix.. its the song at 5min 15sec onwards.. Any ideas? P.S.. CROOKERS FTMFW! Its cool!.. Found it! Rye Rye - Wassup (crookers mix)
  11. Im sorry. Im not a HUGE follower of the F1. I watch every now and again and try keep up to date as much as possible. But does any one else think Webber is HUGELY over-rated!? He has very breif moments of brilliance but on the whole he is pretty average. I dont understand why everyone talks him up so much! Just because he is Australian? and its natural to support your country? Or do people acctualy beleive the rubbish they talk? Is there something Im missing?.. does he have one leg?.. Is he acctually a decent driver? Anyone with more knowledge of F1, please, shed some light on this.
  12. Most definately a very unique skyline! All the best of luck with it Cara!
  13. What mods to the bottom end need to happen?

  17. I LOVE 4 door 34's.. thy are teh sexs!
  18. I too am interested if I should change the crown pinion gear with a new 2 way diff to reduce backlash
  19. Also, Do i use the stock shims on the left hand side of the diff centre when i put my new centre in? They go between the housing and the diff centre on the crown wheel side.
  20. I have a set of these in my 32. Their awesome on the track! The elevel of adjustment is also REALLY good! Price isnt too bad either. All in all I personally found them a pretty good buy! Not so much on the road. They can get a bit heavy. But Im in NSW.
  21. What about the dash? I remeber you haveing some crazy idea to extend the gauge cluster? Is that still going ahead? My had goes off to you sir!
  22. Hey guys! I just picked up a new Tomei 2Way Trax Advance LSD. It was an awesome package with new half shaft seals, diff gasket, bearings, diff oil and diff centre. Now I got couple of questions; Does anyone have a TOMEI diff user manual in English? I remember reading somewhere I have to drive around in figure 8's for 20min to run the diff in. What about driving to the place I have enough space to do this in? Will that be a big issue? Its about a 4 or 5 min drive. Any other tips for running in an LSD? Any tips/anything to be aware of while installing the centre? (Yes, I have marked out the drive shaft and half shafts on the diff and shafts and kept all bearings and shims on the appropriate sides) Any tips on loosening the crown wheel nuts? Has anyone had any experience with this diff? Does anyone have any photos of what a really tight 2 way diff looks like? Because mine has less than 1mm gap between the diamond locking mechanism (sorry i don’t know the name of it ) I’m gonna be using it for drifting. How much different is it going to behave? Am I gonna be able to hold the car sideways for a longer period of time? How much easier will it make drifting compaired to the stocko VLSD? Any other information/tips/advice is gretly appreciated!
