  1. Progressive springs with shokies to match. Gives the car a lower stance and is comfortable on the street
  2. Could you PM me a photo of the rails? Cheers, Cris
  3. LOL! Im almost tempted to buy the gauges just because of the photo! free bump
  4. Id be getting a 4 door anyday over a 2 doors. They are SOOOOO HOT! You also have the options of an NA S14 and S15. In all honesty, I love my 25DE, it sees regular track use, loves to rev and has NEVER skipped a beat. If it were in a lighter chassis, like a a stripped S13, would be a awesome car. NA's are great to drive, who ever says NA's are total rubbish have never driven an NA properly. You can ring the bloody thing from gear to gear and its not going to rip your head off. AND THE SOUND OF A MODDED NA ON CAMS! OHHHHHHH!!! Through the twisties, where the straights are short, a well sorted out NA can keep up to a turbo car (as long as you can steer the thing properly too) BUT!.. and this is a very big but. There will come a time, where (if you even still have the car by this point) your going to want to more power. If your driving through the twisties, track work, drift, hillclimb etc. etc. (this is assuming you want a skyline as a performance car, not for the badge) you will want more power. And the issue is, that its very expensive and difficult to extract what little power your NA RB could have. Soooo, your left down the Tom, Dick & Harry path of going turbo. Cop out. But its the only reasonable path to extract power out of an RB. Issue with turbo is, you need to spend the money on: front cut/engine package/DE+T. Can you do this work yourself? If not its most likely going to go to a workshop, double your budget as well as take the risk for any dodgey work that could take place. On the other hand. Your still a young driver. Your going to screw up, this isnt bad, we all do it, and we are better for it. Your going to have a couple of love taps, perhaps put the car into a cliff (seeing as you like twisties so much.. dont worry.. many of us have done that too..), put a couple of scratches in it etc. etc. Soon, its going to loose its smoothness. Get yourself an old rolla. Something thats already shagged, trash the shit out of it, learn how to drive, put the scratches, dings and dents in that thing and hope you can sell it for something in the end. You wont bad when you scratched it cos you miss judged how close the pole is, unlike your 34, which you'll be devistated, and its going to bother you everytime you see it, unlike your shitter of your rolla. In that year and a half off, save for a decent turbo car + mods. The sacrifices have pay offs. Thats my 2 cents, But what do I know? Im 21 and got my 32 3 years ago on my green P's
  5. Eastern Creek? With what club? Im sad OP is closing down.. I really likes the short circuit. .. I was much better at than the that shitty skid pan too ..
  6. 2010 - Put the engine back together, swap engines, get more lock, get my half cage in, sort out the intake side of the engine, get it over to the pannel beaters, get a seat - yes, not huge plans but as a uni student, living away from home i dont have much money to throw around. I think pretty much by the end of this year, id like to see it where I have always invisioned it to be for so many years. Its getting close, but still a way away. Id like to get to as many drift events around NSW/Vic/QLD. Id like to start some grass roots drift comps Been looking at doing a hillclimb in bathurst too. Perhaps go back to wakie, have another crack there
  7. Nah.. I want a drift car. All the extra weight that the attessa has itsnt worth it. Besides.. bang for buck, 26's arnt worth it.. You going to the Oran Park day on the 2nd?

  12. Hey guys! Thanks for all the interest, but its off the market for the mean time. RWD 25det going in. Attessa being stripped. Cage going in. more lock and back to the track it goes..
  13. DANG THATS FAT! 4Doors just looks so much tougher in my opinion! Looks great man!..
  14. ok. To confirm for future ref. The 4WD RB25DET block CAN be converted to a RWD sump. Remove the diff including the sump from the block. A RWD sump will bolt up. Only one hole on the RWD sump needs to be enlarged to fit the sump bolt. The oil pick up must remain where it was originally located as the oil gallery does not extend to the second mounting point. This requires you to chop a little of the sump baffle to fit the oil pick up pipe. Clean both mounting surfaces of the block and sump, put new gasket goop, bolt up and your all smiles! Why bother spending twice the price on a RWD 25DET anymore? Thanks for the help everyone!
  15. I have something up my sleeve if it dont sell. Along the lines of: Removed front diff, front drive shafts, loop and remove the ATTESSA pumps and resorvoir. S14 Steering rack + steering rack spacers R33 LCA's RB25DET + goodies
  16. Pics of half cage? Bolt in? 4 point?
  17. There are a couple of issues with this. The stud pattern are different from the intake manifold to the head. There are two or three ways of doing this mate. 1) Use an Adaptor plate - Blitz do this. 2) weld the trumpets on. You have to get this spot on as chaning the runner lengths with affect the performance. 3) Do it the proper way http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ma...le-t247435.html
  18. 240 VOLVO WAGON! Massive boot. Safer than a tank. Get a shitter at first. Stick the rest of the money in a high intrest savings account. And hopefully in a couple of years you might see another 15 odd grand again. Then, if you still need a big boot, Stagea.
  19. Im in the process of changing big end and main bearings. The sump had to come off to go RWD anyways.. so may as well.. Will then inspect the bearings and get back to everyone.
  20. GRRRRRRRRRRRR! WHY IS THE GOOD SHIT ALWAYS IN MELB!? PM Sent
