  2. Are you sure it aint just some mega rich dudes bruised ego making excuses? i have heard horror stories from the guys who run these types of training days..... heaps of cash and no skill=big accident.Look at the ferrari at mallala last year.

  5. am fuel regs cause more dramas than good.
  6. yours seems to be on the money 155rwkw std turbo, the gtt coolers (better than stock) have about a 2 psi drop accross them too so the turbos have to work pretty hard accross them.
  7. nah thats BS, i have tuned cars will walbros making 50-80rwkw more than that. Cats car (300+) for example had a walbro in it before i changed it (precaution, it was two years old) to a tomei pump.
  8. another one, this time home made styles http://www.homemadeturbo.com/tech_projects...ower/index.html
  9. id be looking at the tune........ post a dyno sheet with afr's 200 should be a walk in the park.
  10. rb26 and rb25 are the same clutch, just make sure you get the push type clutch.
  11. not sure what you mean? she could not find enough grip she was harldy ever giving it much stick ie hardly reved it over 6000 as it spun str8 to redline.... it is actually too responsive (better than the garret 2860-5's used on previous cars). and could not get traction..... maybe it looked that way as we were not drifting the last corner properly as the car holds too much speed to pull up in time for the barriers, the final corner is a no brainer and wastes tyres for no reason...... we also dont go to these practice nights at calder to go flat out comp style, we go there just to set up the car a lot of people mistake testing different aspects of the car to us actaully having problems, we had only a few handling issues (lack of traction) which is now sorted. The car is going to NSW for a comp this weekend and we could not afford to damage so we only did what we needed not what people probaly wanted to see..... which opens a whole other issue, i dont think people should have to pay to watch a practice session because many expect to go and see drifting only. Often we will only do one section at a time make a few changes and try another section purely to save the car and tyres..... and the crowd doesnt understand this (obvious from your statement) other drivers even put in complaints that we were doing fishies on the str8 and when they themselves did it they got kicked off...... we were warming tyres....big differrence.
  12. re-treads are for ..... actually im not sure what they are good for
  13. Racespec have a kit and are located in melb. www.racespec.com.au or direct link http://racespec.com.au/index.php?cPath=34&...5d6f64b1a41c717 http://racespec.com.au/index.php?cPath=31
  14. should be no dramas i used to run a 245mm tyre on a 305mm rim just for shits and giggles.
  15. (In regards to autobarn) I dont bring them in to help curb the sale of copy BOV's. Another reason is any decent exhaust shop can knock one up for the same price or less. cheers trent
  16. they are pretty coole device.... unfortunately some cock had one on his shitbox silvia last night at the calder drift nite and thought he was cool....he was not. However i digress... does your KE70 have an ignition module?
  17. UPDATE: Had the car a Calder for its first real shakedown and after lots of suspension fettling the car seems to be quite a weapon. looking forward to having some fun at wakefield on the weekend.

  23. No problems at all, i have done a few.
  24. what? its shit..... dont tell me you read the street commodores oil test........ what a sham that was. using a grease tester to test oils.... hello. Mobil 1 Motul 300v or Redline 10w-40 are the only oils i will use, after 12 years playing with imports i can tell you i will never ever use castrol (any, as there shelf oils are not what goes in race cars) pentrite sin (turns to water to quickly when pushed hard) or royal purple as it is just like every other plain jane oil.
