Depends on how the car has been looked after. It could of been thrashed for 10years with loads of repairs and bugger all maintenance. Some repairs will cost you lots some wont. There are soo many variables to this scenario. Go drive both, do some research on both then organize your expenses. then get what you want. Simple!

If more then 10ppl cant make it then i think it has to be changed. Cheez maybe you could PM all that are on list. Definately fathers day.

Also never spray degreaser on and start car up without using compressor or rag on it, i know someone who has set their engine bay up in flames doing this (lucky he had fire extinguisher on him). Just take your time and the results will come.

Does anyone else get to this part of the game and go Fu***it. Just too boring. I dont play the game much so I would pause it and play it like 4-7 days later. Also Does anyone have the steering wheel for it? Is it worth getting? I find this is the best driving game on PS2 but if anyone can name some others let me know cause i want something different.

I personally go over the whole engine bay by hand with a rag, using degreaser and WD40 then getting the air compressor onto it. It takes a while but it comes up a hell of a lot better. Then I have the piece of mind of not worrying about water getting onto starter motor or any electrical wiring for that matter. Normally takes me 1-2 hours. Which includes taking pod off, crossover pipe and I even get under the car and give it a good clean.

The ebay ones arn't balanced to the quality of nissan, slide, GCG, HKS turbos With that budget I would buy another stock one. Save up then you will have money for FMIC, hi-flow, aftermarket turbo etc if you wish to go down that path. I have heard of people with the ebay ones lasting long with good power and others with the turbo going within weeks. Just not consistent enough.

Average 500km per 50-55L. Am yet to have warning light to come on. Have hit 620 max.

I just watched on the News that next years Formula 1 in melbourne WILL have a later start. I dont know how late this is, and whether its night but I hope it is!! Also V8 supercars are back next year. Can anyone confirm on next years late start?

Everytime I see these topics come up I look at the pics and say yuk! But they always seem to grow on me especially the VE HSV range. I don't like the look of it at all really, the headlights and rims are only things i would say I like. But I'm sure when i see one on the roads I'll be following it to check it out cause it's so hot.
