Why indeed. Didnt you believe me when i said i am in to gtst's. Or did you think I was the same as all the other gtst drivers who said they didnt want a gtr and were lying through their teeth. As you know I have as hardcore a gtst in the garage as anybody and that will not change as long as i have breath. But, the old girl wont even sit in it much less come for a drive. I asked her what it would take to get her arse in my car and the answer was simple. buy another one that doesnt look, sound or break my neck like that one. I even considered a 33 gtr for a fleeting second but that passed pretty quick so i went on the hunt for a car we would both like. I did want a manual and there are a couple of nice ones out there but nothing i saw could blow wind up the arse of the one I did settle on. This car will draw as much attention to the genuine enthusiast because of its condition just as the chair is a head turner because of its out there mod list. Best of both worlds and 2 gtst's to be very proud of.

I didnt want an auto but when i sat and thought about why i wanted it, it didnt matter. The wheelchair is getting way too hardcore for street work and the old girl wont even sit in it any more. My original plan was to throw in a 5 speed but after viewing the car it would almost be criminal to molest it. This will be "our" club activitys car etc. it will live under a cover in the garage and be showered with lots of tlc. I intend to keep it in the condition it is now. A set of sway bars and a set of mint 33 gtr wheels will be the only mods. I will keep the original components to return to stock spec at the end of the day.

stock is good as it allows the car to squat and weight transfer far better than most of the stiffer aftermarket setups. Worn out stock is even better.

The only really scarey thing about all of this is that the original poster is still out there driving somewhere. We had to listen to his horseshit in another thread about his "friend" losing the front end and slamming a curb and now this.
