In theory if you wanted to relocate your little computer box and the battery maybe to the rear quarter panel (not sure if theres room there but last time i looked in a r33 there might be) perhaps you could put your subs (if they were matched correctly for optimal space in the sub for that volume) behind the seats but not past the wheels arches. Otherwise I think if you rip out your boot you might be able to go custom fibre or something in your rear quarters? I know r32 can have this I'm not sure bout r33s.

Gday, Was driving in a car that was detonating the other day and wanted to know - When an engine pings, is it cumulative damage or will it one day go bang? I'm just wondering specifically is if a cars been pinging - is the engine dead or can I ya still drive it and have trouble free motoring? Are there any tests that can be done by professionals to tell if an engine or turbo has been damaged by leaning out? Thanks.

Just outta interest .. does that mean the r32 dash is out of the question, or isit rumoured ,or isit known that its do-able out there as a swap? I'd prefer r32 dash over the a32 because the a32 one looks almost the same as the stock a31 dash. Any more thoughts or info?

nice cars killit no matter what they are. i used to have a 351 and if i didnt care for the environment and petrol was cheaper id still be driving it. i cant wait till they develop a water/hydro driven v8 351 with that much torque.. im gonna be "rollin deep". hehe

Blatently targetted is being treated like a crim when a. its your car b. it aint stolen c. you aint done nothin. Meanwhile the buy in the beamer next to you flys past at 20km over the limit and the cop pulls you over for doing legal speed. As for checking for stolen ones the cops can just run the plates if they wanna really know.. and if its a local car they know which colour etc gets stolen anyway.

You're a ledge - with ceffy owners like this in sydney i might have to get it just for the amicable nature of the owners I'll pm you for details but yeah - i love drift but never owned a turbz and my rear wheel cars have always been crap. The sig is cause my best drift ever was all 4 wheel perfectly induced drift on a downhill at about 80kmh for about 50-60m on my street in one lane. This thing is impossible to corner at this speed in all lanes without slip unless you have AWD .... if you saw the corner you'd prolly be proud - i think a lot of people couldn't do it in a rear wheel car the way this corner is. oh.,.. the reason i say its the best drift i've ever done is cos this was in a 2003 or 2002 stock barina... be scared.. be very scared.. When i had my GT i drove past my local police station at shift changeover. i joke not i had 5 police cars pull over behind me ALL at the same time, and ALL ran the red to get to me. Then ALL 2 cops in each car got out. Searched the whole car everything for about 10-15mins- in the end gave me a defect for a bit of oil in the engine bay (got it rubber stamped) haha. The first night my flatmate got his GTST we were driving around and got aggressively boxed in at a servo by one car, they shone lights on us and opened the doors fully like american COPS styles (but with no guns drawn).. they told us all to stay in the car, i was goin into the servo at this stage to buy a drink when some dude ran outta nowhere and in front of me told me to stay near the car.. then after about 6 cop cars got there they let us go. I asked em why sweat us for the guy said "ram raid you fit the description". It's like.. thats nice ... "males and a skyline" good description asshole. Oh well I've had nice cops too so they aint all bad Stupidest one ever was getting pulled over at about 11.30pm on a weekday. The guy had attitude too so I asked him what you pull me over for "randomly. there are pubs in this suburb"<<< yeah good onya .. asshole. anyways some of the good ones outweigh some of the bad ones so yeh.. Gday, I know this has been done before (I"ve searched and read). But I'm after recommendations of either people from these forums who work in a shop, or have got this done by one. I'm looking into getting a r32 auto and swapping with rb25det and manual conversion with the rb25det matched gearbox. Either that or buying a manual rb20det and then doing engine conversion. Anyone have any recommendations? And also price estimates? Would I be looking at $5000 ish or $10,000ish ? This is not including computer or tuning. Just engine and gearbox swap. Also this does not include diff (I'm assuming you need a stronger one if you wanna do bulletproof driveline). Thanks.
