  2. The pierburg should drop in easily & provide all the fuel you should ever need .Where did you pick up your pierburg from ?
  3. Yeah your right Sean , the threads start 23.5mm in from the end of the snout . I was thinking of my big block Chevy crank where it's threaded right until a couple of mm from the end.
  4. No wonder the bolt was loose .. There are no threads on the crank anymore. And the keyway is farked . I would be getting the engine out personally .

  6. Buy once cry once . Brand new OEM , Splitfires or Okada Projects if you can afford them .
  7. Well it doesn't leave too many things it can be now . Just hope it is a plug problem , quick & easy in comparison to a spring swap . Btw , what plugs are you running? Coppers or an electrode-less type .

  9. What Sean said . I tried looking for the spring pressures on HKS step 2's , but can't find figures . It would seem you may have a much too aggressive profile for the springs .
  10. Wasn't this a freshly built head with new springs etc .. Hmm it's strange alright but I would still think if a spring was off you would still encounter problems at 8500 rpm .. But it doesn't do it at partial throttle.
  11. I wouldn't think it's a valve spring because you say it only does it when loaded up .. A dud valve spring & it would be rooted everywhere .
  12. Mate, do yourself a favour and don't put an N1 oil pump on there without at least putting billet gears in the pump . I would hate to hear of another destroyed engine , especially a nice built one .
  13. No adapters , I was going to change o ring size and mod rail to suit .

  16. New set of 6 ID 1000's only $550 I went to 2000's so I can run E85
  17. I can't say they still don't look good .. But I prefer bronze on black & black on white .

Your engine sounds very similar to what mine is ( capacity & your intended power level ).I wasn't entertaining the use of 280's or 290's...but was thinking something along the lines of a 10.5 & 268 , since one of my old JUN's is now damaged. You have now chucked a curve ball at me in regards to the cams I will go with ..so I eagerly await a proper figure once sorted from your test mule . And I will be keeping the factory air box , but using a large carbon duct to the bottom of it that came off Geoff fear's gtr .
