  1. definately forget the EMS..Haltech platinum
  2. The R34 N1's are steel wheel..normal R34 are ceramic..as are the ones pictured.
  3. On the positive side it looks well made..but does not address the fuel surge issues as already said & it is overpriced for what it is. If the price was considerably lower it probably would be a fast selling item ..im sure people would overlook the surge side of things not being addressed if it allowed them to supply the fuel demands needed at a reasonable price.
  4. Cheers steve.. The current setup is a built 26 ..forged pistons, stock rods with arp bolts, N1 pump with nitto gears, heavily ported head with JUN 9.5 268 & large valves, ported & ceramic coated stock exhaust manifolds, modified hks 2530's ,R34 dumps, id2000's & haltech platinum pro. If 2 bar of boost doesnt see it crack 400 then E85 should do it. It's nothing mega, that one will come later..full counter 2.8 crank, pankl titanium rods & the head from the current one.
  5. Nice build Natett.. Where did you source your alcantara from ?..& just how expensive is it.
  6. I plan on cracking the 400 kw mark very soon.. Anyone willing to have a spare seat available this sunday in one ?..seeing as mine wont be ready yet. N1GTR ??..yours sounds very nice.
  7. Bankstown + lebo +gtr =a recipe for disaster..
  8. I dont see any reason why you couldnt.
  9. R32 Zilla ..what exhaust manifolds are you using ?..& have you done any porting on the turbo exhaust housings .
  10. DAS KAMU , where did you order these from ..and how much did they slug you ? Also interested in what they charged for the interior rear window surrounds ?
  11. Thats an interesting bit of trivia funkymonkey...any idea where these 32 cars now are , & what build numbers distinguishes these from the rest.. and what were officially the last 32 ever built ? I would rather one of these than an N1 or mine..and not to mention not many people would ever know about the very last built cars & their desirability.
  12. I would be staying with your current diff ratio.
  13. ^^ Apparently g35 maxima & 350z share the same paint code KY0..chrome silver on a 350z. i think the other is called brilliant silver even though its the same paint code.
  14. Inner pump gear looks twisted ..and shows impact marks on the gear near where the collar on the crank drive is. I think you should measure the run out on the crank snout.
  15. ^^ Yes , i just got a reply today also regarding the gears ...it appears the housing IS a direct copy of the nitto. BUT...they obviously have cut corners by using dodgy sintered metal gears. So much for a high performance pump as they have stated.. So the same old rule applies...You get what you pay for.
  16. Compare the casting pictures of unbranded pump v's nitto pump. genuine nitto unbranded pump genuine nitto unbranded pump
  17. ^^ Agreed..and after comparing all pictures of the genuine 'nitto ' casting and these ones...front and back looks identical everywhere and the only difference i can see is the rear plate is dull compared to the genuine nitto & phillips head screws used instead of hex. In fact im going to buy one and get the gears tested for material & hardness.
  18. ...The OP wanted a 'good' mechanic. +1 Unigroup.
  19. ^^ Do some searching first.
  20. Who ported the head ?
  21. Glad you received them ok mick.
  22. I wouldnt call an N1 pump an upgrade either..if you like playing russian roulette , go for it...i can even sell you my N1 pump.
  23. I used an R34 gtr BM50 master cylinder which is the same bore size as the stock evo's and is a dierct bolt up to the booster..just pulled the plastic reservoir off the gtir and swapped it onto the BM50.
  24. What brake setup are you going with on this ?..because as im sure you would know stock brakes are absolute shite. I recently finished doing the brake conversion on my brothers gtir using Evo 8 brembos & rotors front and rear with endless mx72 pads ..jeez what a difference that made. Look forward to the evolution of your gtir..Btw what turbo are you using on it at the moment.
