My ARC airbox had exactly the same problem ..but i was using a K&N filter instead of an arc one, which i assume was slightly different in size.
My fix was just what DVS23R mentioned as well..i tigged a cross under the filter out of 3mm diameter stainless rod..problem fixed
Although now i have gone back to a modified factory airbox because i prefer the stock look.
Fatz, do you have a pair of rear hubs ?..
im just after the bare hubs .. not really the complete hub /knuckle assembly but let me know what you have . thanx
RB30 Ceffy.. any chance you could see one of your machinist contacts over there with a set of N1 pump gears & stock set of 2JZ gears to make this happen ?..
Or get an idea on pricing for a small run of them with EN series steel.
Ha ha ...you better inform R.i.p.s he doesnt know what he's doing and tell him he cant be revving those rb30 cranks past 9000rpm.
Many guys have built very strong rb30's ..but a dirty r31 deserves no more than 25 head slapped on a 30 bottom end.
There must be a million gtr's in the 300-330 rwkw region and stock gearboxes...if a par gearset is breaking at those power levels that is just f*cking laughable.
R33 gtr v spec front mats ..alright condition , some slight cracking on the underside on the mat of the rubber backing..other than that they are good.
