  1. Warpspeed, the taxi's i see have their screens, radio and shit mounted above the dash and up on the a-pillar, these things would obscure their vision of the road and be a safety hazard in an accident. I've seen these taxi drivers with their stuff hanging off the a-pillar and even using it as a pen holder with pens sticking out of it... no double standards my ass. if these taxis werent allowed to have this stuff mounted on their a-pillar then i would see how its fair, but different rules for taxi drivers and regular cars on the road its stupid. ..yea-huh! :uh-huh:
  2. ill be there with the vid cam so dont be soft with the burnouts either none of this, drive around the water shit wanna see at least a sub 13 rob
  3. hey paul r u racing?
  4. 80mm will be ok, depends if you prefer the more bottom end, or miss that top end. in hpi mag ive noticed a lot of the high powered supras and some gtr's have 80mm systems, where as some do have 95mm and even 4inch. In general, 80mm is not to small for a GT-R, depends, how hard are you planning to mod it?
  5. yeah it REALLY needs to be dropped, i keep telling him, hes lost his lic for 3 months so i guess he'll do it soon. the rear rims are just painted s13 ones, the fronts are also painted, some jap brand M's or somethin. he used to have the whole set of the front rims, which were silver, but he mashed them on curbs he sanded it back himself and prepped it a bit before the respray, cost him $500 for the respray incl paint. up close its a little rippley where looks like paint has been applied too thick in one go, but apart from that looks good, cant go wrong for $500 i spose.
  6. i have got 480km out of a full tank incl some hard driving, and 480km was when the fuel light first came on, so it would have gone further, autos generally chew more fuel too erik.
  7. my good mate has an '83 HR30 2000GT Skyline sedan L20ET motor, full 3" exhaust, 7mgte front mount cooler, 1bar boost, DR30 tail-lights, goes quite hard. just gave it a cheap respray from grey -> black. heres some pics.

  13. Mine's tapped into the dimmer power source, and works fine. maybe i should get me one of these small junction connector blocks.
  14. skyliner33wa i recently got the same shit on my car! i just got a front pipe fitted and it had all this metal shavings in it, and i asked the guy who fitted it to blow it out with the air compressor before fitting it, but i think he forgot now i have all these little orange specs on the back of my car, even on the rear BUMPER which is plastic. i think the metal particles must have blown out the exhaust and got stuck to my bumper, then rusted when it rained. pretty pissed off, they dont come off very easily. Chris.
  15. when i got my car the temp sensor was welded to the cat, so when i changed my cat to a hiflow one, the exhaust guy cut it, and this made the light on the dash stay on all the time. if i left my car idling for longer than 2 minutes or something the engine would switch itself off. i then got a new sensor and screwed it into my new cat, light off, and all good.
