  1. Want to drive the my boat there too? I figure I'll turn my car into a pure track pig if it gets written off by hail
  2. I agree, so far I have driven home from all of my track days. My fails aren't epic enough EDIT and now that I have said that, my car is going to die at this track day

    Old Pac

I'm pretty sure getting the air under the tyres would be somewhat difficult at the posted speed limit
  4. FTO club cruising with Ugly Soap Box Racers? Wonders never cease! I'll ask my mate who used to have a FTO if he is interested, I'll go if he does
  5. Anna's car doesn't rip epic skids... No, I don't think this pic is old quite yet
  6. lol out of all the Skylines you spot, you spot my stock box Spotted Pezhead, Bobbeh and Eug yesterday at OP GP, as well as a Silver R33 GT-R, what looked to be Jess' white R32 GT-R, a black R32 GTS-t, a white R33 GTS-t S2, a black R33 GTS-t with R33 Brembos, two R34 GT-Rs in black and millennium jade and two R35 GT-Rs in red and white
  7. Definitely interested
  8. With a pic like that I can't imagine why a cop would hold a grudge against you
  9. In for group 3 it seams
  10. Chubbeh, I'll be going in my fixed seat and harness btw, definitely in for this
  11. Wow I'm awesome! I read what you posted and I thought as follows "LULZ I is gonna go to the Whiteline website, add some suspension stuff and post a screen shot showing me hesitating at buying stuff lolololololol" I click a button without looking too closely... Screen now says this So Chubbs, I hope your happy with yourself BTW, I was going to buy this stuff anyways... the only thing stopping me... was... cbf
  12. Chubbeh, seeing there is a haze of smoke behind one of my tyres in that photo, I guesstimate that in that photo I am either hard on the throttle or handbrake. The way my car isn't lurching forward, I'm going to assume throttle I'll buy suspension mods when I am closer to the suspension's limit
  13. I also need these things, VLSD is of teh ghey and last time I checked my hand brake shoes they had bugger all meat left (like so little I probably shouldn't have been using it at all on Saturday ) Group buy on Cusco 1.5 way and Project Mu drift shoes?
  14. The voices in my head have been telling me that for years! Top day people! The first two sessions I was in it for the fastest lap time, but after I realised I had a bit of a problem remembering the course layout as well as a little bit of a power/suspension/skill disadvantage I decided to slap on the Stagea rims and rip skids! Never have done a skid pan event before, but I can truthfully say I prefer it over a drift day, all the sideways action without the stone chips Looking forward to being a menace at the next Texi
  15. Block the city with as many cars as possible? Sounds like a description of the city on any Friday/Saturday night
  16. R31s ftw! Here is a photo that is sure to turn everyone to the 31 side Photo of same R31 with slightly modified suspension Close up of modification, just in case you missed it in the previous photo
  17. I was actually thinking of putting a normally closed relay in so when the car reaches around 160km/h it would open circuit wire 53, bypassing the hesitation point automatically. I just can't figure out how I'm going to energise the coil at that point lol I already have, though one would call it an immobiliser I will agree, a turbo timer has no performance enhancing ability, it is a electronic relay which bypasses the ignition on a timer. Seeing as most vehicles do not have such facilities as standard, the wiring of the car has needed to be modified for this device to be installed. Therefore, I say it is a mod. My insurance company also agrees with me on this I'm talking about both the blue tape and the brown... thing... Weird thing is, the brown thing isn't a plug, it hasn't got any capacity for any more conductors except for where the cables go in. Without pulling it apart it looks like what Duncan described it as, a common point for all those cables.
  18. Bahaha, of course I made it home ok I cheated and got a cab from Roseville
  19. I have looked at a few wiring diagrams and wire 53 does say HICAS Diagnostic/Speed Limiter on most of them, as well as a couple of guides saying that you can get "hesitation" at around 140km/h. I figure if I cut it and I don't like what it has done I can always wire it back up
  20. Well... I guess I can take some comfort in knowing that my standards in wiring are exactly the same as Nissan's ie, looks dodgy but is electrically (somewhat) safe Thanks Duncan
  21. Today I planed to cut wire 53 to my ECU to get rid of that pesky 180km/h speed limiter (how often do I get up to those kind of speeds? Once a lap at Eastern Creek ). When I discovered I had left my electrical tape at work I decided to leave my wires alone and just have a little look around to see where the wires go. I remove some plastic wrapping and I discover... this! Correct me if I'm wrong but this does not look like work Nissan has done... so I'm trying to figure out what it's for... Car is 1996 R33 GTS-t Dyno results are to be expected of the car (145-157rwkW with standard everything) Only mod it had when I bought it was a Blitz Full Auto Turbo Timer (later scraped for a timer built into immobiliser) Car still has HICAS Speed limiter definitely works If anyone has any remote idea what it could be please let me know as I am at a complete loss lol
  22. No worries mate, also I'll be wrapped if anyone willingly decides to sit in my car to experience my fail driving ANDO-KUN! I shall bring you teh monnehz at Northern meat n greet n beers n shit I'll pick it up over the weekend
  23. Matt, as awesome as your name and your car is, you have just put me in a difficult position. I am buying the harness for my passenger's seat, I already have one for driver's seat. Unfortunately my conscious has decided to pipe up and not let me buy this without giving you a chance first. If Ando hasn’t sold it by Sunday I’m going to pick it up I strongly suggest you get a harness. IMO when it came to throwing my Skyline around a harness paired with the factory seat held me in place much better than my bucket seat with the factory seat belt
  24. Harness is still not sold? DO WANT! I'll send ya a PM when I get home, basically I can pick it up any time, including tonight. I just want to install it before Texi
