  1. So I went to my local Clark Rubber store and found that they actually had nothing even close that would actually plug up/seal the holes in the firewall... Any other ideas? Cheers,
  2. Yup definitely coming but have to wait till next pay ...
  3. Thanks for the link RP071! Hehehe not this time...
  4. Ohhh so $50 into this account... also what should we use as reference that we have already paid etc... Cheers, Glen
  5. These methods sound good! Is it possible to get a photo of your setup? Would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,
  6. Hi all, I am going to be removing the heater core/complete fan assembly from my R34 GT-R and have seen that there will be four holes that will be left in my firewall... What would be a good way to cover up these holes? Ie - Metal plates, heat shield material etc etc...? I have attached a pic for your reference. Thanks for any help/info!
  7. Yeah tis a great location but having a really good camera also brings it out soooooo much better!!! oh and agreed with the TE's finished in black! who knows... maybe one day...
  8. LOL! Probably THE most interesting comment to date! Nice one Albonboost!
  9. Hi all, I will be getting new tyres for my R34 GT-R on the stock rims (18x9) and so just wanted to get your advice on whether I should stay with the same 245/40 size or move it up to 265/35's? The wider tyre should allow for more grip in all areas right?? So the choice is fairly obvious.............. or is it??? Thanks for the help!
  10. Check this out: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pi....html&st=40 scroll down about 2/3rd's of the page and you might find what your after...
  11. Owwww, looks like things are going to get serious from here on!!! I'm sure you won't let him claim it easily though! Yes thank you Michele! I definitely gotta give it a go! The atmosphere there is so good!
  12. HAHAHA! Nah I wont be doing that. I absolutely love the MFD!
  13. Haha good thinking with the esky etc because I was just going to rock up there with nothing! LOL! $30 for 4kgs doesn't sound to bad too, considering the weight I will hopefully lose!
  14. BTW, thanks guys for the info on pointing me in the right direction to get some Dry Ice! I shall try hopefully someday soon. Cheers,
  15. Yeah I got both front/rear difusers, thanks for asking. I like the factory front bumper so yeah no replacing here. Also, I plan on getting a Recaro SPG seat (Glass Reinforced Plastic), not carbon fibre but again I dont want to spend too much + hopefully Sparco 383 steering wheel. The seat choice is still very light, they say around 6-7kg. My factory seats are heavy as! As all are I suppose! Cheers,
  16. Oh LOL! I see, well um I was thinking of entering my car but slim chance... will definitely check the show out though! On the other hand, I will be entering my car in the Dyno Day with ESP in June though. Cheers,
  17. Well my car isn't a daily driver and basically I am trying to increase the full potential of my car without spending a ridiculous amount of cash. I tell you what, from the items I have removed now I have noticed a HUGE gain in performance with every aspect of the car so now I guess you could say that I am hooked on loosing weight! Check out the items I have removed thus far: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Do...Tr-t310416.html Even if it is only 'less than 10kg'... to me, that is still heeeaps! Everything makes a difference. I understand where your coming from though in terms of the exhaust resonating through the cabin but put it this way, it seems my car is slowly but surely turning into a Race Car... so I have accepted the fact that the exhaust is going to possibly a pain! Thanks for your suggestion nonetheless. Oh and insurance, well lets just say that theres no dramas! Cheers,
  18. Yeah the Mine's car is actually my idol car (who wouldnt?? ) and as such would love to use some of their parts... but for now waay to expensive! Thanks for clearing up the V-Spec II N1 thingy! Cheers,
  19. Hi all, Wanting to get rid of the sound deadening in my GT-R and am just wondering where the best place is to get Dry Ice in Canberra? How much have you guys been paying? Cheers,
  20. Yeah I'm trying to stay away from the (very expensive ) Carbon fibre body parts for now, but I did definitely consider carbon fibre boot, wing, doors etc. I plan on keeping the dash as I don't want a complete 'Spartan' interior however I am actually planning on removing all of the sound deadening and getting lexan windows all round so I can also remove the rear wiper arm/motor and power window motor (and even the power window rails if possible) etc... so yeah should be pretty good then! V-Spec II N1's still retained the ABS didn't they???
