  1. Minimum is 8.8mm on the drop in cams for RB25's when i just had a look around just then mate
  2. Man i had 235/40's on my VS KF 18's and they were fine, i don't see why any normal tyre shop can't do it lol
  3. i am guessing he wants to piss off his afm so thats why he has the Djetro, although its alot of messing around when there are other options out there that work out of the box and still piss off that pesky AFM
  4. Also depends on your location, as i am in Far North QLD there is no one who can tune Emanage's at all, Power FC tuners are everywhere. Besides you can pick up a 2nd hand FC for under 1k so why not get one
  5. HKS make 272 deg drop in cams with 9.15mm lift last time i looked around
  6. Thats a good point ^^^^ With such a developed engine its the only thing to do Mine being a daily it gets service every 5000-7500km
  7. Free bump mate, RG's look sweet in bronze. absolute bargain at $2500
  8. On a side note Atomic Bomber Man, is your current 105mm thick core twin entry? and also would you be looking at selling the core It should be sweet though, air saws are wonderful things
  9. Nah mate, still retains AFM's
  10. Definately do it mate, they are a very good plenum, a friend of mine on here PMR33 has one on his R33 GTST and it cleans up the engine bay beyond belief plus it gave him more power and quicker response due to reducing the length of the intake tract by a fair bit
  11. Will fit if its pre 93 as these are push types. if its a 1993 onwards GTR it will not due to being pull type
  12. As far as i am aware in QLD if its atmospheric as in it does not re enter the intake path then it is illegal... even a gtr BOV can be illegal if you block off the plumbpacks and remove the pipes that run to the intake. If you want to be hassle free from cops make everything look standard, ie no exposed pod filter no big shiny BOV's hanging out everywhere.
  13. SAme with my old rig, never had an issue with it removed so didn't bother puting it back in lol... the car didn't explode
  14. Come on Phil you won't do it your scared
  15. haha that'd be enough for me to get one with a/c lol
  16. honestly i don't really find it financially justifiable to only increase displacement by 1 or 200cc it may make a difference however i have come to the conclusion that if i do stroke my 26 it will get some form of a R I P S RB30
  17. Thats pretty interesting, with my main purpose using mine as a daily driver i want to be able to give mine a stab and not have to wait til the next set of lights before i hit boost.... thats why i'd be leaning towards 2.6 + GT3540 or RB30 + T04Z i don't mind the -7's but they won't deliver the top end power that i know i will want in the future
  18. Hmm thats very interesting actually, I wouldn't go a T04Z if i was staying 2.6l but if i do want more down the track and i do go a 30 bottom end it will be the only turbo i will have on there Have seen some very impressive results from those combo's interms of response and awesome torque
  19. If its an R33 RB25 ecu i wouldn't bother trying to get it chipped Spend the $800-$1000 and get an Apexi FC was going to go NISTUNE with my 33 GTR OEM ecu but i decided to just get a replacement PFC
  20. I am not againts a big single and favour twin low mounts as i think both are very capable in certain areas, the main reason i am looking at ditching the stock twins and go the GT3540 is the fact that yes it will still be relatively responsive, it will do the power i am after and it will simplify all the underbody maintenance on the turbo side, i have ripped off my stock twins in my old car and it was an absolute pain in the ass, definately down the track when it comes time for a rebuild i will be looking at a 30 bottom end and a T04Z as thats a lethal combo in any language
  21. haha thats true, i have been in a mates GT3540 equipped and still 2.6l with mild poncams and it was rediculous very responsive and revved to 8000rpm like a dream... also squeezed 390awkw out of it to... to bad he didn't have a surge tank as it used to hit fuel surge on every launch lol this is why it is getting another rebuild...
  22. I am sorry, i should update that. I don't an RB26 GTST 33 anymore i have a 33 GTR thanks. I have been in an R32 GTR that makes near 600awhp through low mount trust twins and 2.7 litre stroker engine, mind you its set up for circuit but is an absolute weapon on the street, i'd prefer that over a monster single turbo to be honest. In saying that i want a GT3540 .86 or .84 rear housing, as all i want is around 350awkw and that turbo will still be somewhat responsive and useable on the street Just my 2 cents, its not always about size....
  23. I am suprised you didn't show me that bar when i was there on the weekend lol, Very nice front bar indeed. As with anything you have i know its immaculate and genuine Free Bump Ian GL with sale
  24. ^^^ i wonder how often he can enjoy that power.... other than powercruise. A turbo that can ingest humans would not be fun to drive around on the street I get annoyed with the lag mine has.... and its running stock twins A 500 or 600ps combo for a street/occaisional track warrior would be much more enjoyable to drive around town But at the end of the day i guess he built it just to crank massive HP figures
  25. If it was odds on it was from Powerplay Imports, they have the Z Tune and all the other rare Nismo beasts floating about
