They will always be suss about a hi mount manifolde and turbo arrangement Although aslong as (i am assuming its external gate) the wastegate pipe is plumbed into the main exhaust you sould be ok with with that, also if you can get an inclosed intake box as they will crack a wobbly about a open pod filter set up, if its possible and also if it has not been done already plumb back your BOV I have had a rather suspicious looking skyline (matte black with huge wheels lol) and usually was able to go out without getting harassed, but its all in how you drive the car as they will soon learn your car and it will become a vehicle of interedt if your car has been reported/seen doing stupid shit, thats when they pull you up for no reason and go defect hunting, also if its not a local car they will pull you up and suss it out and maybe keep an eye out for it for a few weeks or so But if the vehicle is ok and you don't drive like a lunatic you should be fine Cheers Marty

My mechanic couldn't piece together an RB25 that would last more than 2000km, in the 4 and a half years i had my GTST there were 5 engines in the car, the last engine was a 26 and lasted the longest with constant thrashings lol but sadly a hot day and a bad batch of fuel and no6 piston ring fractures..... i finally did what i should have just done years ago, i bought a 1997 R33 GTR .... thats now suffering from afm issues the day after i picked it up

I am with you dude, mine was decent even if it did still have that shite standard diff lol, the HICAS made it a little hairy sometimes lol. But yes Mild Modded RB26 + Stretched Tyres + Hektik Suspension = Fun Times

Yeah there is a mob that readilly make the kits to suit S13/14 and 15's in the states asa the GTR's are so expensive to register over there, it uses modified GTR drive train and a RB26 ofcourse, some people may have seen this S14 at a recent SEMA show, very impressive

Yeah the finger thing is meant to mean your compensating for a small wang, i'd rather cop ppl giving me that when i am driving my GTR than being stuck in a VX acclaim getting the pinky finger

A friend of mine recently bought a 1098 Ducati, again it had the with the red frame and all the carbon fibre bits here and there and with the titanium pipes on there god it sounded the business.... saying that i can't justify $37k (inc exhaust) on just 2 wheels lol

You have to expect this though, being a factory car its tuned to about 60% of its ability lol should be good to finally see these things officially hit our shores soon

You just notice it more when you both own the same car... same as when i bought my GTST a few years ago i didn't notice how many there were... until i bought one haha But generally if they seem to be ok and it is a nice tidy GTST/GTR i don't mind giving them a nod or a wave to say nice ride
