  3. That's crazy! Be sad to see it all pulled apart and sold off. Free bump though, great bloke to buy off as I bought his old Precision turbo and manifold. Very helpful. Best of luck
  4. Crazy! Amazed at the top end that rig had on the drag battle challenge
  5. Depends what power you want really, I've had two RB26 set ups essentially and the one I have in my GTR now is the best I've had (the stock unopened motor is holding it back alot however) I have had 3 single turbo set ups on my GTR to date. I'm currently running a Precision Billet series PT6262 turbo charger, un real response full 1.6 bar by 4200rpm on 98RON however with a built motor my peak power would be a lot better. Previous set ups have included a Garrett GT3582R and a Turbonetics T66 (plain bearing 0.90 roughly housing) I've never liked the poswer delivery of twins however they may have their advantages in the 3-360kw range. However I have no complaints since changing to a single high mount plus the maintenance is a hell of a lot easier
  6. Swear to god those are the same rims that were on the Autostyle baby blue R34 GTR, hot looking rims to say the least and something a little different.. Free bump
  7. Wow this one has been dragged up from the dead I eagerly was reading it leading up to 2010 superlap world battle then went dead I need pics and updates!
  8. There was one that I saw come off a 32 GTR (Xforce 3.5in) it was almost as quiet as standard but also had a few nasty restrictions ie centre muffler arrangement. Once they were cut out and replaced with straight pipe the noise level barely rose however performance improved dramatically
  9. My RS*R 3.5 inch cat back is errr quiet when it's turned off haha Mine was loud when I was just running stock twins with the Trust front pipes, 3.5in decay and the 3.5in cat back (rear muffler only) and stock dumps. Now it's running a single turbo with 3.5in turbo back... With a 2 inch screamer, I'm 24 so I guess I'll get sick of the noise fairly soon lol
  10. I only changed mine to a Turbosmart Raceport when I went to single turbo and also ViPec ems. Getting rid of that also gave my oil cooler a home. I'm a fan of the standard GTR valves as they are proven and work well. I just needed some extra space lol
  11. Hey guys sorry to bring through the bad news however this kit has been sold for quite some time. The kit was exchanged for another kit with a cash difference. That kit has since made way for another kit now on my GTR lol Thread needs to be closed. Cheers Marty
  12. Shit yea! very reasonably priced and having bought from Blitz before it will be as advertised if not better
  13. Lol I reckon highway counts.. That's the only place mine gets decent mileage
  14. Finally some progress made on the old girl! Finally has a tune for the new turbo set up and she's moving along quite nicely now. Coilovers are in and extremely happy with them so far. Car made 317rwkw on a safe tune (11.1:1 AFR's) on around 22.4 psi boost.. This is the lowest boost possible and the only thing letting the package down is the standard engine which may possibly have a damaged section around one of the coolant galleries on the head gasket so may have to look into this problem
  15. Who cares what mileage you get.. If you can afford to produce a car like that and exclusively run it on E85 then I am pretty sure you wouldn't care how bad the fuel economy is. You can't expect to maintain a very healthy fuel consumption rate if you drastically increase your performance levels thats pretty much a given. Shift light in the cluster looks mint, very nicely integrated
  16. That is correct all R33's are pull type however OS Giken pull to push converters are available for around $300 or so from the last time I saw
  17. Nice choice with the Billet Series, I am running one myself all be it a 6262 but definitely a great line of turbo's thats for sure
  18. Looking great, the blue headliner lights wouldn't go with mine as I have a green roll cage lol but looks good. I think I have seen the Superior Auto interior panel things from Nengun also however I dare say the RHD Japan may be a little cheaper than Nengun Great stuff
  19. Had a few bits and pieces added to the spec sheet lately. Picked up some rather nice and more importantly not stadard suspension for the car. Have a set of HKS Hypermax coilovers thanks to a fellow SAU'er Also have picked up a carbon drift lip spoiler to finally cover up where the standard unit was, has been running the devil horns look for around 2 years haha Also managed to pick up a Greddy dual gauge pod to help tidy up the dash area of the car. Must admit I have been pretty slack with this thing lately, still untuned and stupidly spending money of household items rather than the car Depending on the next few weeks and how I am feeling may look into a new head gasket and getting the head reco'd with some cams and then a tune... however I am more inclined to just pull the whole engine out if I need to pull the head off.. Time and motivation will be the key factor in what happens next lol Stay tuned for pics of suspension
  20. Those wheels look the part Good to see it all coming together now, will be keen to see the vids of this thing doing roll ons
  21. looking good! great progress on this one
  22. 370Z rims = win The 350Z pov pack wheels look junk
  23. Wow, it definitely has come a long way since the very start. Very serious indeed, brakes and wheel combo look spot on to
