  1. slide should pay for atleast half, if not all, the instalation costs. the workshop installing the clutch is under no obligation to keep his car sitting in their shop, until slide decides to send the proper clutch kit. im sure like every other workshop. they have limited space and hoists, and want cars in and out as quickly as possible. slide, always seems to blame his distributors etc etc (especially with his turbos). but what he seems to not understand is that the forum members are not paying/dealing with the distributors, they are paying and dealing with SLIDE.
  2. doesnt a diff on its last legs also mage a *woot woot* noise?
  3. hows his tune like? well il tel u 1 thing, he charged me 600 bux for a tune and tuned it using the hand controller i can show u the dyno paper to show u how good of a tuner and how much effort he puts into things . when i showed it to two other workshops, they laughed at the dyno graph, saying it was rubbish . but hey thats my experience, wouldnt go there again ever
  4. PMs replied. and guys the clutch is a pull type. so a few modifications would be needed if u wish to fit it onto an r33 box.
  5. wel as long as postage is not more than 10 bux, im fine with that
  6. sorry my bad, its the airbox and snorkel dude

  8. maybe its the ticking of the injectors? if thats the case its normal dude. maybe now that the weather is getting colder its slightly louder?
  9. actually s2 have a pink sticker
  10. mate if its ur first offence, ide be inclined to take it to court and state just that. also say its usually a 100km zone and u simply didnt pay enough attention to d road works sign, hence thought it was still a 100km zone. Than remind them again of your previous clean driving history, and how it was a simple mistake etc etc. You might also wanna explain to them how you need a car for work and personal purposes etc etc mate if i managed to convince the NSW RTA to exempt me to drive my turbo skyline (on my RED P's may i add), than im sure u can get off a first offence speeding ticket. Anyway you got nothing to lose. Just my 2c
  11. hahaha how come r31nismoid gets to call people "retarted child" and stupid lol. personally i think if someone has a problem with someone else you should take it to PM. We dont need more name calling, especially from a moderator, as this just opens up a window for everyone else to call others what they please. After all this is supposed to be a friendly discussion forum aimed at assisting other fellow skyline owners. So, if you have a few little tricks and you dont want to share, you should probably not bring it up in the first place, as i can see why some people might see you as holding out anywhoooo my 2 cents OH and that "moron" who you believe we have to put up with, has save me thousands of dollars by helping me with my car. He installed my new injectors, fuel pump, and highflow turbo without taking a cent off me. So please dont speak on our behalfs. His one of the few people on this forum who i have met, that are willing to help a stranger without asking for anything in return . keep up the good work SECURITY
  12. i dare say u may have done a big end bearing. pretty common with rb engines . and the fact it was low on oil may further strengthen my assumption. but hey hope im wrong buddy. does the rattle noise get quicker as the revs go up?
  13. had a veryyyy similar problem with my bros silvia just yesterday,. turned out to be a dodgey oil filter (or put on wrong :|) reason i say its similar to yours, is becauz the leak was coming from the front left side hand side (like yours), and would not leak when the car was off, however would leak pretty bad once the car was on. i suggest you turn the car on and poke ur head under it and watch to see if oil is dripping. just my 2c mate good luck
  14. hahahahahah plz do
  15. mate had a similar experience with my old car. got thwe radiator flushed/serviced etc, and presto problem solved
  16. mate you can not compare the 2, youd have the cops at your door for doing a "runner" because: a) your failing to stop when instructed by a police officer; b) driving dangerously and putting ur life and others in danger (cant really outrun a HWP car following the road rules and speed limits now can you?) so seeing how the police where tailing him, and didnt pull him over more than likely means he has nothing to worry about. im sure if they wanted to fine him and had gone through all the trouble of tailing him, checking his details in their databases etc, they could have spent another couple of mins puling him over, being certain who was driving at the time, and issuing him with the fine. just my 2 c
  17. sounds like ur wheel bearing to me. try and pay attention to what side of the car its coming from, rear left, front right etc etc.
  18. most probably the ecu richening up. but could it possibly be your clutch slipping on the higher boost?
  19. so you need a 3 point immoboliser to register a car in NSW? interesting, none of my cars have a 3 point immoboliser, so i guess my registration is void? lol. i think your referring to insurance there mate :|
  20. man i can not believe this car has not sold yet. if its stil around in february i should have the money for it (considering i sell my r33), ide definately take it off your hands. so fingers crossed its stil available than
  21. mate ill pm u some pictures tonight, and yeh i used my r33 wiring loom, just a bit of customising mainly where the ignitor pack was supposed to be, nothing to hektik though. the motors are pretty much d same power. however with the neo, they got solid lifters, slightly better turbo, and different cam set up. and the r33 gearbox should sit right up. however, i used a 34 gearbox when i did my conversion. not too much work involved so u should be right
