Most carbon fibre bonnets are just fibre glass with a carbon layer. Ones I've seen don't have the same kind of structural support as standard bonnets and as such wouldn't crumple or react the same way standard bonnets do under stress or impact. Also remember something about pre 95 (think it was that year) cars were exempt because ADRs didn't come in to place for carbon bonnets until 96.. or something. It's been discussed heaps in the past though so just search for it

Gotta be careful with that though.. Heard some horror stories about shattering all the bones in your hand doing that..

either those turbos are massive or the kids are tiny.. -
If you're speeding and caught by a camera then it's already too late, you may slow back down to the speed limit but I bet most people will continue to speed knowing they've already been caught and angry at that very fact. If you're speeding and you see a marked police car, officer or some other kind of marking suggesting that there is a chance you could get caught, you will more than likely slow down to avoid being caught and continue to drive slower because they're in the area and you haven't been caught yet... Maybe they could sponsor people to drive marked traffic police cars to deter people who speed?

ebay is good for buying phones without warranty from Hong Kong that die within a few months.. I'd say your $800 high mount set up would last considerably less than that.. You'll end up paying more in the long run after you have to fork out for new gear so why not do it right the first time? -

do-luck style boot cover from dmd.. I'm getting one made up so hopefully they're ok. So that's another option if you don't want to buy an entirely new boot or don't want the drift wing.

never mind... I'm an idiot haha.. fuel lines swapped around, hope that didn't cause any damage!
-
yes easy to fit.. so I thought.. I can hear the pump (nismo) priming (or trying to) but it's bloody loud and doesn't sound right, sounds far to high pitched or something. Car doesn't start, so I assume it's not feeding fuel, but when I disconnected the hoses again after a little while the line was full of fuel. Disconnecting the line going back to the pump released a lot of air (from the tank I think). Any one have any ideas? Could I just have the hoses connected the wrong way around or something? If that even matters.

really not keen on laps in freo haha... do double demerits start on friday morning? Easter break means more cops lurking, with the possibility of more cops wanting to sticker cars, but meh.. drive legally and they shouldn't pick on us..

Yeah and for those who don't want/need to go down the full blown ECU replacement path, e-manage ultimate looks like a pretty good deal. Any one running extensive mods might want to consider something else, but for the majority of people running mild mods and in need of a tune, the e-manage makes sense peformance wise and financially (given the tune isn't done poorly the first time..).
-
Also interested in this, was looking in to buying one but wasn't sure who could tune them well..

haha geez wasnt really expecting that after reading through the thread. Seemed like a hell of a lot of work you had to go through just to get things happening, so many problems! Maybe it was time to cut your losses any way and start fresh.

dump that monster truck! Exhaust would probably be the first thing I'd go for.. split dump, 2.5" or 3" front pipe to maybe 3.5" exhaust, could throw in a high flow cat as well. Depends on your budget as to what steps you'd take to get to a certain power figure, but basic mods people have listed above should be your starting point.
