I've got HBF as well. Not sure what other people have been told by them, but I was told no mods allowed. They wouldn't even insure the car with a $20 boost controller and if I had an accident with that kind of stuff installed it would void the claim... pretty rubbish Seems some people have managed to get fairly good deals. Justcar wanted some ridiculous amount from me and I've got a clean record.. people on here were quoted far less with suspensions and fines etc.. no idea how that works!

Tried Caltex 98 the other day, no noticable difference. That said, still run it on Ultimate. Pretty sure they de-gas the aircon for health and safety reasons, no idea about other stuff though..

Just because it might do more damage wouldn't make it illegal.. Bull bars are legal. But pedestrians would probably get sliced up when you try to run them over I guess

Graphics on ps3 look really average to me, even Carbon on my laptop looked far better. Maybe I just get bored of games really quickly, but playability for this is limited to about 30 mins for me.. so boring!

If I'd had the time it would've been interesting to see if my car would have passed at Midland after failing twice at East Perth.. Was even told to rectify the 'excessive blow off noise' even though I had a stock BOV.. So I'd also recommend any where other than East Perth unless you have a completely stock/clean import.

Ive got some HKS hypermax II and they are pretty damn stiff (dont know what the spring rates are though). Can be hard to control on really average surfaces.. getting some good squeaks now too.

On the topic of keeping your car clean.. can any one recommend a good car cover? Pretty sure I'll go check out this guys' work soon enough, but I want to try to preserve it for as long as possible. Not that keen on car covers that leave the car with a nice layer of scratches though after dirt gets in.. Maybe a giant enjo..

I'm in the same situation, wouldn't mind paying some one to do it if its a reasonable price, so I'd like to hear what people have got to say or who they've used previously. I don't understand why a guy would give you a quote for a job but say he wouldn't really want to do it, despite running a business that specialises in that.. maybe your car is that dirty haha

That really is ridiculous. Don't suppose you gave him a reason to be a loser about it? I understand how much of an inconvenience it is though to have to take your car to the pits, have to do it myself at the moment.. got up at 4:30 just to get there early and then they didnt start inspections until 9 anyway.. wasting our time.

I recently bought one from Sydney. Transport company was moving cars, who most people have said use TNT/Ceva Logistics. Paid $1200 for pickup from the guys house in Syd then delivered to the depot here in Perth. Can't fault their service and it was delivered within about 8 days, pretty quick! Didn't fly over to check it out, but if you've got time I'd recommend lining up a few cars that you are really keen on and going over there yourself and taking a look. Might want to try to get the stock parts with the car (if it's modded) so you have the option of fitting them to take it over the pits.
