i saw a VU ute at easter nats a couple of years back, blending in as they do, and was about to walk straight past when i saw an rb26 parked in the engine bay. i did a double take and yeah, it was a 26 with a high mount and a cooler and what not. pretty cool. then the owner came back, looking for all the world like corey worthingtons older brother with big yellow sunnies, cap sideways, dollar signs around his neck, a heap of jewelry, and just generaly looking like a douche. worst part was he had two smoking hot birds with him *shakes head* anyway started talking to him and he'd blown his gearbox doing skids, which is all any 'nats is good for. he was running a 3spd auto *double face palm* rowdy

there was a blitz in hastings last night, in about 15 minutes i saw 7 cop cars and two bikes and about 5 of them had bommodores with big exhausts pulled over. there are not many imports on the peninsula, so i didnt see any of them in trouble. i managed to outsmart them though by having my 'line pulled apart in the shed, thus unable to be defected

mate got done by a chopper doing 154kmph in a 90 zone, overtaking 5 cars. in a Nissan pulsar lmao. its also his grandma's hah ha. anyway his car was impounded for 48 hours, and he lost his license for a week for every km he was over the speed limit... gotta love that judges creativity so yeah 64 weeks license loss. and also somewhere around $2500 worth of fines. . .but he had a prior offence of 120 in the same 90 zone. idiot. he deserves what he got.

well i had a similar episode in my 'line... i was boosting out of a roundabout one night and suddenly lost all power, she coughed, and then died! I had heaps of fuel, was cranking fine, just wouldn't start. managed to get it to run rough and limp it home, found out next morning my shitty pod filter end cap had sucked right the f**k off the filter, and up against the AFM wire, so that it couldn't register any air flow, and three fifths of f**k all air could actually get past anyway. i simply removed the offending filter cap, replaced with a k&n and bingo! i dont know if you have a pod or not, but hey thats my two cents, and what happened to me. i guess the simptoms of what happened to me and blown piping are the same because the problem is the AFM not getting a signal. cheers, Rowdy.

ahh... i was going to add something about mark webber... but it appears this thread has been hijacked no thoughts on the desal plant from me, only that it will create a lot of jobs... anyway how can we be responsible citizens if we dont have the freedom to make a choice. responsibility is about making the right choices, but ever so slowly those choices are being eroded, and soon there wont be any to make... and i for one am starting to feel trapped. how about we stop thye knee jerk reactions to incidents, government. your a ruling body, not a knee. take the time to implement tried and tested systems and practices, instead of slapping a new law over the top of all the others. wankers.

yeah i've heard the gasless mig's are pretty cacky. who wants to pay the leasing fee for a bottle of argon? but you can get disposable bottles cheap as, so im tossing up wether to get a tig or a mig now. atm ive only got a 170amp cig transarc... pretty good, but not really great for the car. welding al foil, thats mad. anywho...
