  1. Not yet coz no one wants to buy one haha. But I'll be getting one with ishyz34 very soon
  2. Haha yeah, I'm just waiting for someone to cover the cost of my respray lol
  3. Surely no one will watch it nowadays if it's still about banging subwoofers, neons and NOS... lol
  4. You'll definitely need some work to make it all work, because plugs will be different... It's even different between the R34 auto and manual steering wheel (even minus the switches on the wheel).
  5. Hmm... Honestly, I don't really care about how it will turn out lol, because my car has so many minor faults on all the panels of the car, it's due for a respray anyway.. But not now. Guess I'll just sand back a little bit of the paint so I can remove all the rust or kill it, prime it, and spray it, then clear it, while all taped up. Another thing I noticed with my car is, on the bonnet.. It seems like stone chips are causing my clear to bubble and eventually peel... So my question, why does stone chip causes my clear to bubble? Gonna quick fix that with a bit of sanding and reclearing over the weekend..
  6. Do you have xenon housing or just normal reflective halogen housing?...
  7. Taking a couple of turns to start could be your starter motor or your battery, have you checked those? As for idling issues, when was the last time you serviced the car? It could be little things like spark plugs, dirty AFM etc. I think idle is meant to be at 850-900 rpm?
  8. I've also just figured out how to get the numbers (0-3) light up too. You need to use a sharp knife to ply out the plastic number plate, then flip it around, you'll notice behind the numbers, it is blacked out. So just grab a knife or something sharp to scrape off the black paint
  9. I have finally sourced some of these globes, in LED, and have changed my blown globe over. I've got 3 left if anyone is interested, $4.50 pick up or $5.50 posted.
  10. Not sure if this is the solutions but I think there's a way to disable/enable the auto feature, by double tapping down or double tapping up or something like that?
  11. I'd say $200-220 if they can use the existing seal.
  12. Ahhh thanks for the tips, do I need to sand back bits of the current paint too? before I rust convert it?...
  13. Is it true that if you use rust neutraliser or converter, the spot will turn brown?.... Is it something that I can get away with just touch up paint?.... Or is it gonna look hidious after converting it? Also, some rust is actually under a little bit of the paint... Can someone give me a rough walkthrough of how or what to do pleaseeeee haha
  14. Something you cannot refurbish yourself? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/350149-clear-coat-on-steering-wheel/?hl=%2Bsteering+%2Bwheel+%2Brestoration#entry5637111
  15. I have a spare stereo surround trim thats not too badly scratched, just 2 little noticeable scratches if anyone is interested.
  16. Well when I did my internship for 9 months without pay, I had to work on weekends at Safeway to get some money to pay for food..... Just depends on how hard you wanna work and how well you wanna do in your career lols It sucks, but just suck it up and deal with it
  17. Lol yes... That has happened to me too... I was pulled over on the side of the road with my engine off, outside my missus' house in Springvale, just sitting there chilling and waiting. A cop drove past my car, looked at me, kept driving. But turned out he drove around a 3km radius block just to come up behind me again to "pull me over"? When I'm not even moving lol Again, I was polite and all, and he said it was a "random" license check. Then I asked "did you pull me over because I'm in a Skyline?". He said "well yeah.. What do you think? A yellow Skyline parked in Springvale"..... At least he didn't lie about it lols... I remember that hahaha, I was shitting myself xD
  18. This is exactly why you need to work for free lol
  19. Hahaha, I used to believe that for about 3 years. Up until this year... even a month ago. Friday night, went out with a bunch of mates, on the way home on Springvale Road, crossing Princes Hwy, saw a bunch of cars on there at about 1am, so I thought I'll go have a look. Turned left towards Sandown, doing the speed limit, just looking at other cars, before I got past the 7/11, a highway petrol was sitting on the side of the road. Drove past him doing speed limit, then he pulled out, and while I was doing a legal U-turn along with a few other cars, he cut off 2 cars in front of me just to pull me over... Got told to pop my bonnet, I was polite and all, they checked everything, closed my bonnet and defected me for height..... 90mm? So to those who thinks be nice and don't break the law and you'll be fine... That's a big fat lie!
  20. How much is cheap?
  21. Does the beep annoy you? lol
  22. Well yeah, if you wanted a sunroof, you shoulda bought one with one, but if you didn't and you want one.... It's really not worth it... It's pretty much the same having both windows open hahahaha
  23. If you want a sunroof... Either buy a R34 with a factory sunroof or pay $2000 or so to get a Hollandia installed properly and with warranty But sunroofs just makes the car more heavy, roof lower and the chassis less rigid EDIT: Also, if not installed properly, roof can leak and rust can occur
  24. I wouldn't suggest DIYing... Because your car was made without a sunroof, cutting a hole in your roof yourself will compromise the integrity of the shell. Best to take it to a sunroof installer to do, but some of them might not allow BYO sunroofs lol. A brand new sunroof at those places can cost anywhere from $2000 to $4000.
