  1. You are right about the response. My last setup was a gt35 with .63, 16psi by 3500-3800. But i would NOT recommend that sized turbo if you wanted something sub 400hp AND you wanted better response. I'm not a qualified mechanic. But if i wanted 380hp with the best response i could get i wouldnt even be looking at a gt35r. Thats like buying a 1000hp supra, when an evo can do 10sec 1/4 ,more efficiently.

  3. Impressive, watch the coil bind tho. seen a mate snap 3 tomei type B valve springs with his 10.25mm cams Go the 9.25's you know u want to
  4. Turbosmart will do fine. Installed one on a mates car. plumbed back-Imagine the VTA psscchhhh sound, but much quieter. Not sure how you will go IF you VTA it. I have never had a problem VTA'ing and neither have any of my mates.
  5. Maybe he likes open wastegates, but doesn't have one?
  6. what size cams? drop-ins im guessing as you haven't listed springs or solid conversion.
  7. Nice. Buy yourself a Feroza, and dump in a built SR20DET. I've heard their the shiz...
  8. ^^ This. Standard r33 injectors fit into the greddy plenum=side feed. But if your going a GReddy fuel rail, you will need top feed injectors.
  9. This For a stockish datsun just chuck in some bcpr6es plugs, clean them, but replace them every 2nd or so service. At stock boost, I wouldn't be able to justify going iridiums
  10. Everyone will have a different view. I forsee this thread will be closed. I haven't used a BOV for 2yrs. I doubt anyone here would say to do it on a STOCK turbo tho :S
  11. Yes. My car is tuned on 98 too. I was stuck in gympie, didnt have enough fuel to get to the bp, so had to use the matilda=95ron or 91 ron can't remember. I just had to cruise home on the motorway, nothing went boom, as long as you don't putting crazy amounts of load on the engine you will be fine. My DET didnt go over 15
  12. Yes he does. But just goes to show how stupid OP is for being swept up in the whole end of the world, no oil, petrol $$$ era that was 2008.
  13. SSSSSSHHHHHHHHIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTT mate. There goes 1+yrs of blood sweat and tears down the drain. I can't believe it . Never thought you would smash a car. Buy a cheap s13 shell and dump the box and motor into that
  14. ................................................................................ ........... Are you serious man?
  15. It was designed for 95 ron. Pop your bonnet, look on the label, should say 95. As long as u dont use regular unleaded you will be fine.
  16. Bout time shaun. Does this mean you have FINALLY finished with it now? No more RB issues? NOW PAINT IT 2 TONE BLACK AND WHITE
  17. Try spool imports man. They will supply you with the BULK of your needs. I went the 40thou route, fully knowing if something happens, i will need a new block. I doubt if you could test both sizes, you would actually notice a difference anyway. Choose what you want. 20thou would be the safer route
  18. ah. well i had a 38mm tial gate. Now running a 50mm turbo smart gate and there is only a small difference in size. (about 3-5cms length ways)
  19. Doesn't Kyle only recommend the turbosmart 50mm gate? He did when he made mine up.
  20. you will be fine, dont know about that turbo tho. My mechanic worked on a 25 with 270 tomei cams, sure the had more lift, but his power delivery wasnt too bad. Definitely useable. But that was with a gt35r
  21. Good seller, fast post. A+

  22. hahahahahah thought u would say that!! good bike.
  23. i would have gone a hyosung over my old 250rr if i had the chance again
