  1. Bump for Christmas - these are exactly what your friends want as stocking fillers this year.
  2. These are still for sale guys. They make an awesome christmas present for your girlfriend or mum.
  3. N1 blocks are marked 24U
  4. Sounds like a connector fault. This could be one of two things. 1) dry solder joint on the pfc mainboard for the connector 2) faulty or loose cable/connector from the hand controller both are not massive problems. If it starts happening more often you can get the connector resoldered pretty cheaply somewhere or alternatively a new cord is not that difficult to rig up.
  5. That sucks, sorry Liz hope you are ok.
  6. The 2JZ might be a good engine but the GTR is a far better car than anything Toyota ever built for the general public to buy. That's what it comes down to.
  7. Retail prices are a bit more too lol!
  8. Those are price per unit mate... As you know you need 6 of each of those to completely redo injector seals!
  9. I think you might be lucky the GTS-t parts will probably suit. As for the driver side window switch panel. You can get one brand new from Nissan for the $75 - $85 mark. Let me know if you want one i can tell you who/where to call etc.
  10. I cant actually back that up now that i looked at my little list. It's not a couple hundred but its expensive. Here's trade prices and part numbers: Name-------------------Nissans Name-------------Part Number---------Price Each Injector O-Rings-------SEAL-O RING--------------NI-16618-78A00------7.4 Injector seals---------INSULATOR-INJECTOR-------NI-16635-78A00------10.39 Injector seals---------INSULATOR----------------NI-16636-V5000------4.18
  11. I bought Nissan injector seals and o-rings... couplea hundred dollars later I wondered why i bothered. ah well it was dead easy to buy nissan and im pretty lazy.
  12. Those compression test results and AFRs are fine if you happen to live in bizzaro world. You didn't specify if you did in the first post so i thought i'd check.
  13. Yeah i just edited my post. Stock they run very close to 1 bar already. After you free up some restrictions.......
  14. This thread is pointless. R34's do not have a boost restrictor. They have a marking where a restictor would be but they do not have a restrictor like the older GTRs. As Geoff has already mentioned - R34 turbos are ceramic wheels with ball bearings. Mine was running 1 bar from the factory after I put a cat back + hiflow cat on it. They do this all day long and will go the distance. If you want to pull a restriction out open up your airbox and check to see if you still have the factory plug in the wheel well intake hole. Pull that plug out and go for a drive. Sounds good
  15. Thanks Richard - There ya go people
  16. I can get you a copy of FAST from Nissan. PM me
  17. It's to quiet down the intake noise. Removing it does not harm the airbox in any way.
  18. I don't know why people don't like finance. You can't get a good credit rating without getting into debt... Getting into debt when you're young is a great idea as long as you're smart enough to repay it in a timely manner. Buy an R34 and live with a newer car every day and a good credit rating in 3 - 5 years time. As for insurance, that's what the telephone is for... Justcars insurance 131326.
  19. Yes GTT lights are the same as GTR. There is a difference as wrxhoon has mentioned but it is only in the rubber strip which runs across the top. The GTT has a longer rubber piece. I should know - I pulled my GTR lights out (which had been converted to halogen during compliance) and put a set of GTT lights with the xenon bulbs plus ballasts still attached straight in. no difference...
  20. 350z uses a Jetco? 6speed. R34GTR is a getrag unit. Different gearbox. R34 GTR gearbox is nice in my opinion.
  21. It's BCNR33. No such thing as BNR33. Xenons are on Series 3 only. Irrespective of V-Spec or not.
  22. Doesn't look silly. Looks odd for the first 30 seconds and then you forget and it looks like every other car mat out there. The important thing is that it fits very well except for just down the left side . It also perfectly aligns with any of the factory mat pins you have in the car already so the mats dont slide around.
