Whoops - well I just got an HKS 3040 (1.12 AR exhaust ) & HKS high mount manifold - it may be a bit big for my RB25DET - but cause my internals are done, headwork, cams, cam gears and higher redline - I'm hoping it will be OK..... we'll see I guess...

Thanks Steve - yeah the turbo people have offered to change over the wheels, which would increase lag in the quest for more power right ? - I'm thinking of a HKS3040 with HKS manifold too. Steve did you get my e-mails ? Sorry FATGTS-R - i'm off topic....

Hi, I'm not claimimg to be in expert here - but something sounds wrong here to me. Maybe you are not realising 'full' boost on your setup @ 3550 RPM? 0.56 bar what's that 8 PSI ? You should be able to get more than that out of the T04e - which would come on later then 3550 I've just gone thru a bit of a time consuming 'experiment' on my RB25DET. I was running a T04e compressor (.60AR) with a VG30 exhuast housing (internally gated) At 9PSI I was getting 200rwkw - boost reached 9PSI by 3800 RPM At 14 PSI I was getting 250 rwkw - full boost by about 4300 RPM Max power we could get out of the turbo was 255 rwkw with boost wound up to 19 PSI - turbo started 'cavitating' (what ever the hell that means - to me it means that the turbo ran out of effeciency) I know that out engines are different, so this only a guide. Have you tried turning up you boost to .7 or .8 bar ? Cheers,

We have prices and they are VERY VERY good ! * $160 for a 2 door coupe (eg Skyline) * $170 for a 4 door (eg Commodore) * $190 for a 4WD (any type and shade of tint you like - choose on the day) * $50 to remove old tint (whole car, less if there is only one window) Now there are some conditions. * Cash price only is above * Anyone requiring a receipt will need to a) Choose legal tint and B) Add 10% to cost * Offer valid until 16th of Feb 2004 (ie dockets will only be given out up until then) * A donation of $5-$10 to the club (SAU-NSW) is encouraged for all non-members * Dockets are valid for 2 months after issue. Logistics -------- Due to the interest in this deal - (approx 30 cars) and the cash nature, I think it is better (and easier for me) for you guys to pay the tint guy directly. So, if you are serious about getting tint through this deal - You will need to email me the following details: * Your Full Name * Your contact phone number * The type of car you want tinted * Your car rego (plates) <-- ie the car that will be tinted My e-mail address: [email protected] I will return your e-mail with: The name and contact details for the tint guy. A unique docket number (passcode or key) for each car you want tinted. Details for SAU-NSW donation for non-members I will then forward your details on to the tint guy - with the passcode/key so he can identify you and your car. Note that this deal is only open to holders of the docket numbers. You line up a time and day with the tint guy and pay him on the day for what ever you want. * Note: once you receive a docket number, you are comitted to the deal. So don't e-mail me your details above unless you are serious. The tint place is in the North Ryde / Ryde area. It would be easier and more conveinient if you went to him. He can come to you (depending on your location) but you will need to fit in with his schedule and have an appropriate area/location for him to work.
