Red - CTP insurance is OK isn't it ? Since the RTA have OK'd the most direct route. Comprehensive insurance is a problem as most insureres won't issue a policy without a rego number - Check it out though ....

Yes - what Sideways said - Make sure you go there by the most direct route. If you get pulled over tell them what you are doing - Make sure you have a booked appointment !

Steve , the timing thing is temperature dependant I think - they had to install a new thermo probe thingy on my intake (after the cooler) . I'm pretty sure this is the thing that changes the tune - So for me, is a good thing, cause I would have no clue when and what to change. And I think you don't have to set it if you don't want to - But safer on the engine to do this. And (as you would know) with the a $$ we spend on out cars - better to be safe than sorry ! BTW - How does 323 rwkw sound on a rough 2 hour tune. Go the HKS 3040.

Jimbo - PFC can't do this - Microtech can - This is a nice benefit- to me.... Roy - I've just spent an hour trying to find detailed tech info on the LTX-12 but not much out there on the net - BTW is has a 3 bar MAP sensor....

Yeah - I was there - getting sunburnt as all hell. Car has too much power and I smoked the clutch on runs 1 & 2 - gave up after that. Embarrasing when the Andra dudes pull me over to check out where the smoke was coming from - ha ha ha ..... I won't comment more on this until after the final Microtech tune - Who knows - I might end up going with a MOTEC - :yeah baby:

Well, after my PFC blew up, I have a LTX12 in - needs a bit more tuning, but can see there are a couple of extra befefits.... I have now had 4 ECUs in my car - the PFC did run well, but lost settings and blew up - so I don't need that in my car. The EMS was - well ordinary - but mainly due to the installation ... Staty tuned for the Microtech performance.. BTW - when I was a Drag Combat today - LOTS of cars were running Microtech ECUs

I was farked - Clutch slipped in 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th ...... Time for a strong damm clutch..... 15.6 first run 15.1 second run - and lots and lots of smoke from the clutch - ha ha ha ha ha ha Fark it was hot !

Well, the car has been sitting around for a month waiting for new turbo etc - Last time the AFM setting were lost, the battery went flat - I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Or if it was damaged when charging the battery ?? I know it sounds strange Steve - but they wouldn't be doing this deliberately - We are trying to get the car ready for DC tomorrow and putting the Microtech in was the quickest way to trouble shoot. If they had another PFC they would have put this in, but are out of stock. I don't think the thing even fires now - it just cranks over - put the Microtech in and works OK - So not wiring. If the Microtech was tuned properly the consumption wouldn't be too bad would it ? If anyone knows someone that can test and fix the PFC, lemme know - Or, maybe I just buy a new one.... Damn it - I am having no luck with this car.......

Looks like my Power FC has busted. It was working fine..... Now car won't start. (I don't know any more than that as car is at the shop) Workshop put a Microtech LTX12 in and fires up OK. So looks like something up with the PFC. It had previously lost settings (the AFM setting) though. Anyone got any ideas on what's wrong or who can fix it ? (it was bought 2nd hand and from Japan) For now the Microtech is staying in - maybe I should just keep this in ?? Ideas, Comments are appreciated Thanks,
