  1. Ooooo - I just looked at your graph - you gotta get that dip fixed You must feel that
  2. Wilch - well done mate Nice results. UAS have a really great team and facilities I was gonna come down to UAS today, but had to get a new turbo water hose Once again - good effort and well done to UAS. Go Adam and Ben
  3. Ah - you guys have no idea - Peter_hi - you need to get an HKS T51R SPL.
  4. Shit - I started this post nearly 2 years ago ! he he he Here's my advice - PISS OFF THE STARBO and get something good OR Learn to cool down your car. Turbo timers are a WANK ! ! !
  5. You guys are nuts - 143 at the wheels is about right for a modded, turbo 2.0 Litre in line 6. to get 180-190 out of an RB20DET is a big job. Welcome to SAU (gruntn) PS why do you put bracket arounds your name ?????????
  6. Man - you really need to tell us what you are trying to achieve ? ? ? ?
  7. Geez - I think I might like this turbo Boost starts at 2.2K (that's when it goes from vaccuum to 0 PSI) At 3K I have 5 PSI At 3.5K I have 15 PSI At 4K I have 19 PSI (low boost, 25 PSI high boost) Thats with me driving in 4th, leaving Peak Hold on the Boost guage, driving up to the rev limit specified then backing of - Then reading what Peak Hold says. Compare this to the 3040 Boost starts at 3000 (ie 0 PSI) At 3500 it has 5 PSI At 4000 it has 8 PSI At 4500 it has 20 PSI At 5000 it had 23 PSI So you can see I have much more respose. The car feels much more responsive and hence quicker on the street. As you can see the 3040 hit real hard The 2835 is much smoother - much nicer for street driving. Now - to put it on the Dyno and see that the power differnece is Cheers,
  8. HB Mate
  9. You'd think the would throw in the air filters and cam cover for that
  10. On J-Specs web site for : $7,800 landed
  11. I would have thought a mines ECU leaned out the inherant richness that Skylines display. Has anything else been changed on your car ?
  12. Well boys - it lives. As it turned out, I had a 90 deg reducer bend left over from one of the other turbos I had on my car at some stage So it's running - I took it for a burn tonight - boost comes on heaps earlier - I can tell cause the BOV makes heaps more noise, and earlier, compared to when the 3040 was on. My dash lights are all busted (fuse I think and havent been f'ed fixing it), so I couldn't see tacho and boost guage - tomorrow , I'll get a much better idea of what is happening. Quick tune to make sure everything is in order and lets see what happens. Shit I have learned a lot about turbos doing all of this. You can theorise all you want - but see shit for yourself really drives home the differences in compressor size, AR, turbine size and what effects these have on the charactaristcs of your turbo/engine combination.
  13. Hmm - that engine bay looks familiar
  14. Yeah - what we need is for someone to take pics - I also wanna see the difference between a GTR Rod and a GTS-t Rod (standard). And also the reason why GTR Forged Rod (aftermarked eg Eagle, etc) won't work on a GTS-t - ??
  15. I have been shown ARP SR rod bolts on a GTS-t rod (you don't need the crank) just put the rod bolt thru at the big end and from what I saw, the nut only screws on about three turns of thread - leaving the nut half on and half off. Didn't look very safe to me. * Caveat to this is what I was being shown was exactly what I had been told the bits were.
  16. Is that cause you are using a MAP sensor'd ECU Chris ?? he he he he
  17. Can someone tell me the part number for the ARP rod bolts to use ?? If there is a difference between GTS-t rod - bolts and GTR rod - bolt, please advise. Thanks in advance.
  18. I do want quality - but don't wanna pay $110 for something that looks like it cost $5 to make. BTW - I'd be retracting your comments regarding Jewish people - this is a public internet forum and i'd imaging many members of this site may be Jewish.
  19. Hi, I need a silicon 90 deg elbow reducer to connect the turbo to the cooler pipe work. 65mm ---> 50mm reducer with a 90 deg bend. I looked on GCG's site and they are like $110 - Holy Crap ! Anyone know where I can get cheaper ones ?? Or is there another way to do it with alloy mandrel bends and straight reducers ?? Cheers,
  20. Dude - what exactly are you bumping for again ?? I know this thread got a bit OT.... So check this out - results soon : click here
  21. Ive been to the Crazy Horse - that place ROCKS ! ! ! ! OMFG - I think I am chubbing up just thinking about it
  22. Croat - what you are after is the 2835 Pro S The 2835 you see on my car would neva fit on a low mount
  23. Prolly just a temporary measure Pete - until I work out what to do with the 3040.
  24. I spotted myself in GLORIA the other day. Does that count ??
