  4. Nah - a challenge Richard - 2835 is interim - whilst I decide on 3040 options. Also to see the diff between the 2835 and the 3040 with the same setup. Options for 3040: a) GCG Rebuild $950 B) New Garrett CHRA from the US $ approx $1200 delivered c) GCG Rebuild and new compressor - prolly about $1300 d) looking at other options too - anyone got any other thoughts ? With the new Comp wheel - should be a beast. But where to use all that goodness ?? ha ha ha

  8. Richard - I have no clue what you are talking about. Well - nearly got the HKS 2835R on now - Pics to come. I got one nut on the turbo flange to go - that's it - It's a tricky little bugger - You are right Richard - I need someone with small fingers and hands to get it started. So should be back on the Rd soon - need a reducer/silicon 90deg bend if anyone has one lying around. Then small adjustment to the tune to compensate for the slightly smaller turbo - and Bob's your Uncle. Cheers,

  11. Doughy and have been talking - Here's the deal I reckon: Because I am now so accomlished at changing turbos - I reckon I should have two turbos. 2835R used for the circuit. I get my 3040 rebuilt with special, secret, comp wheel - for Drag - See if I can crack 400 rwkw he he he What do ya reckon ? GTS-t twin turbo - just not at the same time twin :)

  14. All you guys with GTS-t's should build them up strong, good & tough - Then everyone will start putting GTS-t badges on their cars. You know what would be good.....???? A GTS-t badge on a GTR - YEah baby

  16. I can't seem to find anyone that has done onw of these 2835R s properly on an RB25DET. I reckon you'd get close to 280rwkw with the right setup.

  18. Run the 12 volts from your ignition, Earth is ground The signal wire (usually green) on the autometer goes to the RPM output of your ECU. There's prolly a white wire that goes to your lights too I just installed an Autometer (Autoguage) Tacho in my R33 GTS-t and no problems at all.

(80PS Difference)
