There is definately NO Shortage of highly modified Supras getting around.With Guys typically spending as much or more than Skyline equivalent..Getting rid of the factory twins and going big single + ECU and injectors etc....Very common mods these days...not too mention coilovers etc..These aint cheap

well as for engine strength and durability I do agree with you.As For drags ...well some quick here, some quick there..but Supra is better suited for this...But for an all out circuit animal....Sorry but I will still favour the GTR as the winner....Sure the Supra got enormous potential..But seriously the Skyline has had soooo much development work with Suspension...And as the power envelope gets pushed further on the circuit the Skylines all wheel drive shows its advantages more so...I dont really see much for Supras competing in Tsukuba time attack..and this is THE event for circuit cars in Japan.....Look how fast the Garage Saurus R32 is...absolute Rocket.But hell the supra definately makes for one mean ass SOB of a street car...piss the twin turbos off and go a big single and its got butts to kick

well actually I do see a market here for Diesel.Europeans have been using the stuff for years.In fact the Majority of cars sold there are Diesels.Both Ford and Holden had better realise whats going on in the world.Diesel is only going to get bigger. The way fuel prices are going large engined sedans on petrol will be completely unaffordable very soon.Diesels use so much less and with the technological advances Diesels have made these days accelerate as good and better than the Petrol engine equivalent. Look at what VW has done? their Diesel cars are quicker than the same car with the petrol engine..Howabout Audi winning Le Mans in a Diesel?

Performance car and bling bling do not ( should not ) go together. One defeats the purpose of the other. I dont mind Bling Bling on the correct type of car. Hummers and Chrysler 300c look great in Bling...as do some of the Lexus range....but to do this to a great performance car like an RX7 or Supra is really Bastardising the car

Yep its sure a shame that people dont use cars like Supras and even RX7s for circuit work...I have never seen either at Wakefield...but I am sure they do get used in Japan..Here these cars end up getting lowered to the bump stops and 24inch wheels fitted, resprayed hot pink and 300kg of In car entertainment fitted...Really pointless shit.."Hey if you cant hear me coming from 6 blocks away then with my stupid paint and wheels you cant miss seeing me"...These cars mostly end up with "self " enthusiasts..not Car enthusiasts...big shame.

start from one end of the car and work toward the other. Start at the tank and check every fuel line and right up to the filter and then the injectors.you may need to run the car to get it to smell...but it sounds like a fuel hose may be hardened and brittle thus not sealing properly

My 32 was just like that...so I used to set the turbo timer for about 5-6 mins and let it run while I ate my breakfast...very good idea

quick question...Did the oil pump survive the thrashing ? My thinking is that maybe the oil pump died from the huge revs and this caused you to spin the bearing....

very good way of looking at the situation...I like supras also....If you are ever bored jump onto youtube and start searching Supra vs...you will see heaps of great races....but the bullshit that comes out of these hurt bleeding little americans is amazing...they just cant handle the fact that something from Japan hands their ass to them on a platter

when I had my skyline it had a plastic COke bottle lid with a hose clamp around it...worked ok..

I know TODA do a really good flywheel...they come in many specs from mild street to outright race...So response has improved ...howabout low end pull...like take off without the big revs...better by a noticable amount right ?

wow thats interesting...I was always under the impression that lightened flywheels only helped in the higher revs..Thats the second person who reported better low end torque from the lightened flyweel mod
