  3. Bus driver for the State transit Authority...may not be the glitziest career, but its pretty relaxing and a fantastic perve as well...just think all those gorgeous city office girls I get to check out...of course the job has its moments ( like any job I guess )....but overall I enjoy what I do. 10. a lot of factory manuals have a method involving parking the car a certain distance from a wall. Then marks are made on the wall at a certain height and position...headlights are then focused on that...see if you can find a wrkshop manual to another car and try that...other than that a dark road late at night is also good.I am not so sure about how R33 headlight adjusters are but I can speak with experience with R32 adjusters. The internal adjusters become brittle with time and quite often are broken inside. Be very careful when adjusting
  11. drifting at 100 kmh on a freeway...precisely the stupidity shown that P platers are dying and killing others..As for your generation driving better than ours.....Good and bad in all...I like to think of it this way...its far more difficult to drive a fast lap time in a crap old car than in a new sports car. lets see you drift in a 351 XB falcon with bodyroll....you would shit yourself
  12. I understand your point and to a large degree you are correct..however something to consider..Of all these fatalities just how many of them would be blamed on being untrained for the conditions ? I would say very little...But how many involved the use of ridiculously high speed, street racing ? I would dare say that the accidents would not have happened and if for some reason that they did.It would have been only a minor accident. And this isnt just P platers...People complain when police use hiding tactics like unmarked performance cars etc...personally I have no problem with this..If you are silly enough to have a drag race on the street...then you deserve to get caught pure and simple...people need licences cancelled for a lot longer to make them think twice about what they do on road
  13. I have heard so much talk of training young drivers car control etc etc. Fact is if these young guys were obeying the speed limits and road rules these accidents would never have happened. I learnt to drive in a POS XE Falcon wagon...Body roll galore, pathetic drum brakes on the back that made me wonder if they actually did work, no road holding abilities at all whatsoever in the wet...yet through my stupid young phase I am still alive today. The cars these young guys get today are far better braking and handling yet the accidents are through the roof....Its the boy racer mentality that is killing people, its encouraged in video games, movies and TV....Sorry but when you crash the skyline at 300 kmh on Gran Tourismo 4 the car is unmarked...reality is totally different...Everybody wants to race,be it at the traffic lights or through a twisty road....racing is the trend..to be the best or fastest..This is why the deaths are just going to continue to increase...Doesnt matter whether its a 600 hp GTR or a 100hp excel...both are capable of killing.
  14. just wondering what boost are you running ? I am thinking the computer is retarding the situation. Any problems with the 02 sensor ?
  15. well the Commo driver got what he deserved didnt he
  16. mate I would love to know where you are reading this stuff. i have actually had a cat back on my R32 GTS and it made good power. I then had the turbo rebuilt as it was on its way out,I had an X force dump installed as well while the turbo was off. let me tell you the car came alive after this. If anything most of the gains I made were in spool up time....it came on boost a few hundred revs earlier...made it much nicer to drive...dont believe all you read
  17. yes I too am sick of them. Nothing sh&ts me more than knowing what it is I want and then having some 17yr old kid trying to tell me that its no good the one they stock is better.. I have corrected them out loud on many an occasion..." kid...I have been building cars since before you were in kindergarten..."
  18. possibly the 3SGE Beams engine ?
  19. last R32 GTRs came out in 94 as far as I am aware.GTSTs stopped earlier I believe
  20. yeah I am not much of a fan of the HKS foam type pod. I have used the Apexi pod in my previous skyline and it was great. Easy to clean and sounded and went well. Highly recommended
  21. wasnt there a projector type headlight in the later models ?
  22. I really believe that $2 a litre is not that far away, just remember back when it first hit $1.10-$1.15 a litre..it wasnt that long ago...I reckon by this time next year we will start seeing $2 a litre

    Todays Mx

jailed for 3 months...what a joke..He should have been jailed for 2 years and slapped with a $5000 fine minimum...
  24. I seriously doubt that ford will allow the turbo to be so quick.( 12s ). The trend in the past has always been to push the V8 for the top line performance car and the everything else after it. if the factory turbo falc is running that fast it will kill the market for the V8...As for a twin turbo V6 in the future model....I am a little sceptical they will do this, maybe if it comes from Ford US twin turbo, but I just dont see Ford Oz going down the engineering path trying to squeeze twin turbos onto a V6. Its a far more expensive excercise than the single turbo straight six currently in production
  25. well mate you have copped a lot of Shit from people who are supposed to be Skyline enthusiasts and still not cracked the shits yet yourself ( very well done ) .. As for the car....I would really like to see it one day...Very fine looking machine indeed.my guess for the future value ....$100,000
