Actually I broke it 5 times.. Worst part is you don't even have to try too hard to break it. Broke a different gear each time too,(even the input gears!) so its not like just one gear has a problem. And every one I know of that has actually used one has busted it..They are plain and simply not up to the job!!
2510's are rather old skool. Similiar or slightly better in spoolup to 2530 but without the power. The turbine to compressor match reflects the age of these units. R34N1 or GT-SS will make more power with substantially better spool up and transient response. 2530/2560-5 will have similiar response but with much greater power due to higher flowing turbine.
cheers.

These are a great turbo for a street GTR. They make a very responsive 290-320kw @wheels with standard camshaft RB26 at 20psi...If you cant get a similiar result, something is definately wrong...
Great to see lots of interest in heading north to play on the NSW tracks.
I've wanted to visit the creek in a good car for a long time.....I'm with Aaron on this one, go the road trip with a van full of cheater wheels/tyres for the track events.
Might as well drive the cars....isn't that what its all about???

The Lake Mountain Sprint was run/won last weekend while SAU was off partying at Deca... ....
Some great results with the White's in the Lambo taking out the win, Brock did well to finish 2nd, Jeff Beaumont was as fast and consistent as ever in the EVO with seventh fastest time and 4th outright...But a big surprise was Drew Jorgenson in the R32 GTR running sixth quickest time and seventh outright.........Congratulations guys on a great event...........
She's run a big end, driver has continued on, rod grabs and chucks itself out....Pretty usual RB behaviour.....
NB. The blueing on the rod big end is the givaway as to the event sequence........
Actually, the Motec/autronic can use TPS/Map for fuel.......so it looks at rpm, throttle position and manifold pressure which makes it 3D...
but its still hard to beat the good, old PFC on a RB....just so easy to tune well.
cheers.
