  1. HKS. But who can tell the difference between the companies these days?
  2. This is one of the major car-buying issues of course, but plenty of hits can be repaired and the car will be like new. It's only chassis and suspension damage that is really ugly IMO. Point is, don't run in tears if the car's been knocked, when an inspection reveals the repairs are up to scratch and the chassis/susp. is OK.
  3. Cops can radio the station and ask for your details if they aren't finding something about you on their in-car database. I've seen them do it. They have a wealth of personal information at their fingertips. So lying isn't really a good idea. Just play dumb and innocent, it might get you a better mood from the cop than "bend over time!", get me?
  4. Gets my vote for best post of the thread IMO when you're making big power you should think hard about skimping on things like dumps, AFMs and reg. It doesn't hurt to give your setup some headroom and reliability over the long-term. You're being pre-emptive about getting 'over' 320awkw quickly. After i shat myself, the 375rwkw R32 gtst i sat in the other week, with zero traction, makes me think 320kw with AWD in your car will be a really responsive and punchy setup. I suppose cams and gears might be a future mod you'd choose to squeeze some more kW out if you're getting bored.
  5. Your crap punctuation made your post funnier lol But for shizzle i agree, I let a chick drive my car when i first got it. Ended up sitting on a median strip, stalled, with cars coming at us from both directions. The back seat didn't get stained that night
  6. +1 I do like Jap styling, but i don't wanna cry when i see it. Seeing Italian exotics makes me cry. Fair enough the Japs AREN'T the Italians, but they should take a leaf outta their book. Or porno mag.
  7. First car i drove on my P's was dad's VS commie. I mostly pottered around in it, but it had many an egg and waterbomb thrown from the window when it was filled with mates. Got pulled over, searched and fined for doing that Even better was taking mum's car out, a shit AE92 Corolla. Thrashed it, double clutched it in every gear, drifted on dirt roads, never changed the oil etc etc. Loves to be a little b*tch. We did bin runs in it too. Me and the boys would find residential streets with all their bins lined out the front and someone in the back would lean out the car and roll it alongside. I'd hit about 40-50km's, with the bin bouncing and rattling, then we'd let it go and all turn back to see it launch over a gutter and spray garbage all over the street and into people's front yards. Those were the days That Corolla was where i had many a small minded chick in the back too. Plenty of sex stains are still on the upholstery, they're like my trophies But the first car i bought was my R33. Haha that's when things got really crazy. The speeds i've done in it are just ridiculous, so is the attention i get. I'm more familiar with the police now and the back seat has stains too, but the material is darker so it's hard to see. You have to smell it
  8. Hahahaha lmao! I love speeding jokes
  9. Impressive time. The rear has a nice shape too. The front looks a little odd though, like a premature born baby's head. Also too many body features for my taste- so many flares, bumps and ridges. Looks like it needs water to breathe. It's like a beautiful shape hasn't been fine tuned with this car, so much as all those little features have been sculpted into the exterior to give it presence, like an xmas tree covered in lights. Still, great car and great performance (and it's good ol' manual & RWD for the traditionalists!)
  10. Put simply, it is the turbo of choice.
  11. Good to see Christian coming out of the woodwork and shedding some light on the banner situation. At the end of the day, it's his forum, it's his decision. If the ads are for profit, or just to keep the site afloat, that's his business. If the changes to the site, like the ad/banner saga here, are bad choices and get in the way of enjoying SAU then people are likely to stop using this forum. But i highly doubt that will happen. The banner is a VERY minor part of the SAU experience, and the opponents of the new banner (myself included) are complaining out of sentimentality. I personally thought the old banner looked good. But running what is essentially a business, i'm sure Christian will agree, would be done with the least amount of sentiment possible.
  12. Around $220 is the median price. Consider it's little brother (040) is about $200.
  13. They will never give up teh power. It's all they have Adam.
  14. As i read that i shook my head and said "that's f**king ridiculous". Amazing technology.
  15. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Lp...&hl=gtr+lpg
  16. He entertains me too, but if you peel away all the BS and jokes he's actually full of facts and insight, believe it or not. This goes for his writing (esp. pre-2000), as well as TG.
  17. Everyone i know uses PFC's. The Haltech would be better for big power/track performance right?
  18. Will be interesting to see how the TG review is spiced up compared to the Sunday Times review. My guess is it'll be totally different.
  19. Oh yes, how it does matter.
  20. It defeats the purpose of the ad if that area is overtly attention grabbing, yes? I guess there's another bit of formatting after the banner. No more poo.
  21. You're comparing chalk to cheese. GTR and GTST are very different cars. GTR is always a better performer. Only exception is drifting One plus for the GTST is that modding it is cheaper, but it'll always be trying to catch up with the GTR unless some big dollars go into it.
  22. Well Joey for only $19.95 (incl. GST) you can get our high speed SAU connection. No more waiting for slow forums and Wasteland threads. Click here to subscribe now!
  23. I agree with the above comments. But f**k me that's an ugly banner-tisement.
  24. You're perfectly correct Adam. Something that's been bothering me though... It's called Skylines Australia. The R35 isn't a Skyline. ?
