  1. I'm keen to add a boost controller to my factory RB25 turbo. Will manual or electronic be a better/economical option? Also is it a simple DIY job? Or will it get complicated?
  2. Good luck saving lol. What about trying an S13, or 180SX if you want something slightly cheaper? I used to work at Woolies, they suck arse

Damn...i gotta get some babe to sit on my 33 bonnet too...
  4. Never hit a track before (just got my 33). I'm keen...what do i need to do to join?
  5. I guess a ceramic cat would have better heat conducting properties than metal. Ceramic will retain more heat, meaning the gas passing through it moves faster, meaning your turbo (if you have one) can spool quicker. Same idea with NA RB's too. Ceramic sounds good, but if metal does the job you need if for, and is cheaper, then forget ceramic cats.
  6. Yeah i agree What you really want a GTR for is the track, where AWD can suck up the corners. But doing 1/4 mile, you need those extra kW's in your tuned GTS-T.
  7. Yeah i think i'm gonna have to change the pump. I only just got my r33 and it's been in Oz for a couple months only. Not sure if its had its 100k service yet. The clock reads 62,000, obviously wound back. Should i just change timing belt and pump all now anyway?
  8. Little scrape? Touch up paint dude. Ask a local panelbeater if they have the colour. Otherwise try Nissan or import workshops for the colour. Don't have no's atm. I've filled up fine scratches on my 33 with polish, but if the paint has been scraped all the way to the body then polish is useless. Cheers
  9. Hahaha thats Bankstown for ya. Tons of lolo's and hot cars. Piggers sick of chasing 'em around. My mum got her Astra smashed by a Skyline in Bankstown a few months ago. The Skyline was a write off haha.
  10. Anyone spotted me? Gunmetal grey R33 around Greystanes area. Also at Sydney Uni heaps. Get at me!
  11. i'll give the hoses, radiator & pump a check. The hoses look & feel pretty decent, no cracking or brittleness. Hard to spot the pump...what's it next to?
  12. I've noticed every few mornings when i reverse out my 33 from the garage there's a small puddle of coolant on the floor. Is this a serious problem? What should i look for when i get under the car? Cheers
  13. Hey i noticed recently (i only got it 2 weeks ago) that some mornings when i reverse my r33 out the garage there is a small puddle of coolant on the floor. Happens every few days. Is this a major problem? When i get under the car what should i check first?

Only mods so far - HKS Pod & Engine Damper. Just bought a TurboTech bleed valve to chuck on the turbo. Should be on there in a couple weeks, planning to up the boost to about 10psi (approx. 0.75 BAR) for now. After that i want to chuck the muffler (for now, will do complete exhaust mods later) to add a few horses and then i'll add a front mount (one from Just Jap probably). A rough power estimate on these modest mods is about 180rwkW. I cross examined these with others' RB25 dyno results in the dyno threads section.

The Skyline's stovetop tail lights make it stand out on the streets. I reckon they look best on the R33. On the 32 they're dull, and on the 34 too ostentatious and without the smooth symmetry of the 33.
  19. Sounds OK! Is this good for newcomers? I'm new to SAU...
