  3. how come u didnt delete the roof rails?
  4. are you sure u dont have a buckled rim? what condition are your rotors in??
  5. well my idea worked out, but its a huge job! something only a highly experienced professional should attempt! i wouldnt recommend it unless ur doing a complete teardown and respray. hopefully it will look good once the paints done.
  6. same here. im 6'2" and ive got the seat about 2-3 inches forward from right back. its a bit tight on headroom though.
  7. i understand what your saying. but they are right. try it for yourself. head down the tyre shop with an 8inch and a 9inch rim and have 2 identicle tyres fitted and inflate them to the exact same pressure then messure the circumference. there will definately be a difference. it wont be much (0-5mm), but they will be different. you answered it yourself when u said: "the sidewal is designed to flex and distort. its normal for a tyre to do that (within reason) but when you stretch them, youre not allowing much movement. thus the tyre is 'firmer' and doesnt allow it to..... squirm?" the stretched tyre is under tesion and cant balloon out where as the unstretched tyre will. thus changing the circumference
  8. damn i wish i could read funny writing
  9. +1 for that. the different subframe is the real issue. did u look at other options for swaybars?? like gts-t or gt-t??
  10. have you got any pics of em?? thanks for the help everyone
  11. hi guys im chasing both fixed side windows from the cargo area. the ones with the aerial on them. anyone that can help please let me know. cheers
  12. im keen on the manifold if u wanna separate??
  13. its an old thread guys. u wouldnt wanna buy from this guy. he's ripped off numerus ppl on here. the mods should have locked this one
  14. i know im goin to get flamed to death for saying it, but IMHO the federal 595 is highly over rated on a daily drive car. they are great for a weekend warrior or if u do ALOT of hard cornering. but for the daily commute i'd suggest something thats a little better in the wet and maybe wears better. i also agree with the other guys a 245 is pretty narrow on a 9.5 inch rim. id be goin a 265 to protect the rim a little better.
  15. try option1 they had a bunch of em a few months ago when i got 1.
  16. take her out to QR for a track day. wears them tyres out in about 25laps thats how i got rid of my last set. half tread to bald in an afternoon
  17. this is exactly my point. the pumps work great. but theres nothing "bolt in" about them. having to wire up a new relay and custom mounting makes it difficult for ppl without the tools or experience. my advise to anyone with little experience is do not attempt it.
  18. that didnt come out right. where can we get cima panels from for a test fit. any importers that do cima stuff??
  19. yes theres alot of BS surrounding the fitment of walbro pumps. so many ppl say "they bolt straight in" on so many cars. they just forget to mention that the plugs need to be changed and you have to modify mounting brackets and hold the whole thing together with zip ties. after all the shit i want through with my commodore i'll never touch another walbro pump again. OEM branded pumps are a much better way to go.
  20. guys i agree that the cima front looks awesome, is it a kit maybe?? anyone got some cima stuff for a test fit??
  21. I heard u beep me at the lights but only seen taillights by the time i looked
  22. i also noticed this problem from the day i picked my stag up 4 yrs ago. ever since then ive been increasing tyre profile to correct it. so far im up to 255/40/18 and its still not right (out by approx 5kph @ 100). so next set wil probably be 245/45/18. it should be getting close with those
