  1. I think it might be more like a switching wire. As in the rear windows are 4 antenna's for the TV (2 each side) and 2 for the radio (1 either side). from memory the amplifiers are on the D pillars at the back of the window. I know there is a power wire for the TV aerials at the back but can't recall if there is one for the radio. And I threw away my spare tv loom the other week.
  2. Not Aaron's.. his was a black ARX.
  3. Well done Alex on getting it to a tune.. has taken a lot longer for some of us M35 drivers Cheers Andy
  4. Why not change the shift direction on the V35? Then they will both be the same.. The Manual mode.. when you push it over it will always go to 4. You have to shift to 5 manually. On the M35, when it says 4, it means it will use all gears up to 4, same applies to 3 etc... Does not sound right it getting stuck in a high gear.. It has a computer for the auto box and this should control this. This gear box does not take the same transmission oil as most older Nissan's. It uses nulon atf/Nissan Matic J If someone put in Matic D it will kill the gear box. I would get the oil checked as this may be part of the problem. If you use the gear box only in manual mode the oil will get very hot as when in manual mode the fluid does NOT go through the radiator to cool. It only goes through the radiator when in Auto mode. If you overheat the gear box it will not shift down easily. A transmission cooler is a great addition for our climate and some thing most of us have installed. Cheers Andy
  5. Why don't you come by my place some time and we can try the Informeter on your car to see what voltage you are getting on your AFM.
  6. Hi Rudi Was that the same import mechanic that has done all your other work? Have you run an Informeter on your car to see what reeding the car is seeing? That may help to identify what is happening. Do you know what the specific failure is that is happening to the AFM? I presume you have tried your faulty AFM on another car to see if it works? Cheers Andy
  7. Hi James Did you rescan for TV channels in your local area? With any TV tuner you have to retune when you move more that about 60-100km from you home base. I would be surprised if you were unable to get reception in Newcastle. If you can get reception in your house with out a 40ft aerial on the top of your house you will get reception in your car. Cheers Andy
  8. Generally the stock one will go the distance. It is good quality and still using the stock one after turbo change 4.5 years of driving.
  9. The exhaust is one of the first mods done on these car... particularly the dump pipe as the stock one holds to much heat near the turbo and decreases the life of the turbo. I don't think there are any dump pipes available ex JAPAN. You would be looking at a from the dump back from Japan. Have a look at Scotts dump design. It is a great piece of work. Cheers Andy
  10. Will be interesting to hear what they build for you.. I have note heard of anyone being able to rebuild the stock turbo to the same specs.
  11. Hi Alex You said that originally the O2 sesnors were in separate pipes for each bank. Just a thought.... would repositioning one o2 sensor further from the exhaust port on the block effect the reading that it see's or is expecting to see? Cheers Andy
  12. It is unlikely that the coils are at fault. AS mentioned above... get the fault code and then you won't have to speculate.
  13. Hi Rudi, Really well. Sorry I missed the last drags night. Will try to get there soon as I want to see the difference.

  14. I sadly inflicted my wife on my Stagea the other day. Simple request.. take my car for a run while I am away to charge the battery... Simple request became very complicated because she takes the car to shops, then can turn alarm off or start the car to go home.,... Try to solve this problem from OS is not easy...
  15. spotted a solver m35 RS/RX on Moore Park road across the road from the footy stadium.
  16. I think it is actually 110km/h but by the time you have around 10% speedo error it is closer to an actual 100km/h. I set my after market cruise at 114km/h (actual off GPS) and cruise past any cops.. (NSW it is safe to do this)
  17. depends on the item and your urgency. there is freight calculator on the site. But as our cars are imports. There are often no other options.

  19. Import Monster will be the best place for the bar. Here is a not perfect second hand one. http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=http://page3.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c330332187&thumb=http://f5.auctions.c.yimg.jp/f42batchimg.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/7/5/6/0/pickup23jp-thumb-1326257546046760.jpg&title=
  20. Do not get Factory Cruise control unless you only like to drive on a highway at a max speed of 100km/h All the extra's can be fitted locally. In some respects having a single Din stereo from the factory opens up the options significantly.
  21. Nice, that pump looks nice. The wiring is pretty easy.
  22. And increase your fuel pump pressure... my car was massively lean without the fuel pump.
  23. Not entirely true that statement. The Nismo is not an off the shelf ECU tune but it is tuned on each vehicle that the Nismo ECU is fitted. Removing most of the low RPM throttle restriction and improving response all the way through the rev range.
  24. I have one tuner left in stock, so I just set it up on a jury rig to see what sort of reception I got in various configurations. With 1 antenna attached and not powered I picked up SBS in about 4 variations. with 2 antenna attached there was no change. with 2 antenna attached a 12v powered I got around 25 channels. (all the major ones) From that I would assume that you have some issue with power to your antenna's. BUT to sort this out I suggest you remove the unit, bring it to my place in West Ryde and I will test the unit on the jury rig. Cheers Andy
  25. Saw your handy work this morning Alex.. looking good.
