  8. Terry badge looks good but +1 for the offset
  9. You wont need Japanese as plenty of signs ,maps etc in english and yes some people speak a little english. a few basic friends in english help so bonus for you if your doing a bit of study. The Ice Festival in Sapporo is nowhere as good as it used to be due to city budget constraints but for a first time view its still worth checking out. My advice hit it late afternoon for a wander through, then go warm up with some food and go for another look once its dark as place is all lit up and looks pretty good. Not sure if they run it anymore but they used to setup a smallish big air jump in Odori with Japanese pro riders going for spots in the Sapporo Big Air which is also worth checking out. As for car related events in late Jan through Feb the Osaka Messe will be on just keep an eye on this link for dates http://www.automesse.jp/e/index.html In my as good as Tokyo Auto Salon if not better.
  10. Midori G-Sensor ! Did you get base model or the more circuit orientated setup ??
  11. Dave the sound out of the silver 35 was bloody awesome... Video of it here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=JQgR9nO3YHY The gold one just looks great as well. HKS 35 Will load up more later
  12. More in the next few days...
  13. weird double post
  14. http://s91.photobucket.com/albums/k281/elrodeo666/HKS%20PREMIUM%20DAY%202012/?action=view&current=JF0S9072.jpg
  15. Ok it was a cold shitty morning but rain was holding off but forecast was for it to start around midday but it hung off until a bit later but it was pretty bloody cold and my camera's power pack decided to crap itself and light meter was playing games so I only got pics early morning and light was pretty bad. Definitely a lot of development going on with GTR35 parts and body kits which can only be good.. Anyway here's what I got.. Whats a day at Fuji without a pic of the lady herself..I was there pretty early and she was pretty gloomy. Got given free pass with parking behind the grandstand so no big walk from the car park.
  16. Naah Paul just had the one night since I got back. Just been too busy. There is definitely been some action in the 35's parts development. Still trying to load pics to photomuppett.
  17. Just got back from Premium Day and it was bloody cold and gloomy day and rained after lunch. I'm off for an onsen as frozen to the bone so will post up pics later.
  18. Nobody really thought it was 100% sure it would not happen but was talking to a few tuners here and they confirmed they have been told its an absolute no go this year due to the big move so quite a few tuners are focused on the GTR Magazine's "R" meeting which will be around September which in my opinion is probably the best event to go to. Roach I've been at Fuji since sparrows fart yesterday. If your down here today let me know. Looks like rain this arvo.
  19. I found out here in Japan yesterday that this years Nismo Festival has been cancelled and will not be held this year. I was told the reason is that they are/have to move premises and thus wont be running the festival this year.
  20. All the best and hope for a speedy recovery.
  21. Mike it might just be the way the photo was taken. I'm picking up the head ,pistons and a few other parts next Friday and will send Paul some pics. Keep in mind this head was all machined by Naprec to their full racing specs and fitted with their bronze valve guides 1.5 over size forged valves and will spin 9,000rpm all day long. All the port/polish and other work has been done at HKS by one of their top race engine builders. This spec head is tried and tested in Japan and no problem with flow. Sorry if came off as defensive but long flight yesterday and topped off with a nomihodai one could say things are a bit foggy this morning. Anyway lets keep this on track as its all about Pauls new "Pig Monster"
