  1. Nice! Another NSW resident, where are you located? I'm out smack bang in the middle of Parramatta, the Hills Districts and Blacktown.
  2. Maybe all those countries whose main source of income is their rice-field productions have threatened to sue if there was one more Excel, 1.5l Lancer or E36 BMW 318 with chromies and ridiculous paint featured in it...
  3. I think I spotted lingeringsoul James today in Seven Hills, turning off Seven Hills Road onto Station Road.
  4. DR2 = Dark Green or "Sherwood Green Metallic"
  5. The Chaser would win. The 1JZ-GTE in the earlier Chasers/Mark IIs/Crestas were twin-turbo, non VVTi - that's the JZX-80- and JZX-90-series models. The 1JZ-GTE in the JZX-100 and onwards models was the single-turbo version with VVTi, and they did have more torque than the GT-Rs - at least the R32 and R33 models, not sure about the R34. The only 2JZ-powered Chasers are non-turbo, as far as I know. Same engine as the JZA-80 non-turbo Supra, the JZZ-30 non-turbo Soarer/Lexus SC300 and the non-turbo JZS-140 and JZS-161 Aristo/Lexus GS300 (including the Aussie-delivered ones). I can't see myself getting rid of my Stagea any time soon, but if I ever need or can afford a second car, a manual JZX-100 Chaser is at the top of my wish-list!
  6. Nice car - although I'm not usually a fan of 33's, yours does look really nice. Not a bad job with the gauges, too. I did mine on Thursday night. It's not perfect - they're not quite right when it comes to spacing between them - but I'm happy with it.
  7. Spotted a wine red R32 GT-R and a white R34 GT-R parked at the kebab place on Church street in North Parramatta opposite the Tollgate Hotel, around 10.30pm
  8. My guess is that you've been lucky - as far as my understanding goes, any virus (like the common cold) is constantly evolving, which is why there is no "cure" for it. So you might not get it this time or next, but because it constantly changes, your body might not be able to fight it off in the future.
  9. Is anyone willing to sell their centre climate control/stereo surround? I filed mine back a few weeks ago in an attempt to get my 3-gauge DIN cluster in there, and I really regret it... If you have a look in the photo, you'll see that the section around where I've now moved my head unit has a gap on either side, and I'd really like to replace it to also add a bit more security so the stereo can't be pulled out of its chassis... At the moment it's not too hard to get to the two little "hooks" that hold it in place on either side. So, anyone who has replaced their surround with a carbon fibre or wood-grain looking one (Mike?), please let me know if you're willing to let the old one go. Thanks in advance! Nick T.
  10. Send a PM to beastien, he organised a run of these a while back and may still have the details.
  11. That could have been Duncan, probably heading towards Unique Autosports off Powers Rd. I live about 2mins from there too.
  12. Dude, Nengun's site is all in English, so it shouldn't be a problem for you... Oh, and Splitfires are US$600 for you? Man, we can order them and have them delivered here for UNDER $600 Aussie here, which is probably about US$480.
  13. Awww, Dale, that cuts me to the bone! I love my 'Rolla's. Not as much as Stagea's, obviously, but they do hold a place in my heart. Huh, where? Me thinks that's a Chevy Impala or one of its stablemates
  14. I've got a weak immune system as it is, so all you sick fools please stay away! Last time I had a bad case of the flu was just under 12 months ago, and it turned into pneumonia and put me in hospital for a couple of weeks! F*&king worst feeling, I was having delusions and everything! Some hot nurses @ Westmead, though, I've gotta say...
  15. In +1 if my friend isn't doing anything - that's the actual day of his birthday, so I'll have to confirm. Otherwise, for sure!
  16. Mine's a converted S1, and even though the central stack is still there, the "PRND2L" is gone - not sure if the previous owner removed/covered just that section, or if it's a new dash. I can take a picture if you want, Micah, but I'm guessing you get the idea.
  17. The one on Powers Rd in Seven Hills, Phil? I live right near that. Lucky for me we never smell anything. My rego papers list my car as 1658kgs.
  18. While we're doing ol' skool Japanese wagons, why not more Corollas? This one's copping an SR20DET conversion: Apparently this one's a bush taxi: And how's this recent one? Looks like an AE100-series.
  19. Bah... Duncan's stealing all my ideas! Next he'll be putting a lift kit and mags originally designed for a Nissan Patrol on it! 'sif I'd really do that.
  20. Yeah, we gotta organise it before we can announce the official details. It's in the works, don't worry!
  21. * shakes fist at Marssssssssssssss *
  22. So what if it's a sleeper with no major "bling?"
  23. I usually run them off the road - the extra weight of the Stagea helps there! Seriously though, I usually flash my headlights or give a wave, but apart from the odd occasion, I usually get a death stare (proving that some people think they are too cool for skoole), or a blank stare. Then again, there's still not that many Skyline drivers who know what a Stagea is...
  24. Kinda like a spark-plug socket, but with a slot on the side...
  25. Can't you borrow a Mazda2, Ed? Worked last time...
