  1. I know what some guys here are saying that's it's a charged 5 liter etc. I still think that's a very high amount of power for basically a stock car, given mods. I'm no ford fan by any means far from it but I give credit where it's due. Know a guy who's dad ownes a 5.5 liter charged e55 Amg with a tune or chip and it didn't get anywhere near the gains like this. Iv read a about people charging v8's and it wasn't as simple as bolt on, tune and result in close to 400kw. I think it's bloody impressive, good on you mate.
  2. Either way man, that much power that easily on a street car is just insane considering the mods. I know what you mean, but if a gtr was able to get that much power with such minimal, straight line or track you wouldn't say no. My point is It's crazy amount of power that easily whatever the purpose is.
  3. Lol you definitely did that
  4. Wow, gotta say that is amazing!! Rembering how much I spent on a gtr to get reliable 290ish rwkw and that's easy compared to some imports. This makes you wanna cry lol.
  5. That's insane, not even exhaust or boost? Lol in that case I hate him too and I don't even know him
  6. Yours is the black GS yeah? What mods did you do to get that power, lots required?
  7. Too much trouble to get a pic of head liner?
  8. Not the best photos, I'd get better ones but iv sold the car
  9. Iv done mine in standard 2pac paint, 3 years later and they still look same. It'll withstand the heat easily, iv seen more with same results.

There was a silver one around too. Doing prinny laps hey?? If you're the same person, we cruised along side you for a while!
  11. There's a YouTube clip of this car with a Tomei Ti exhaust I believe. Sounds so sweet!! Thats why I wanted to get the same exhaust because of your car, but living in Melbourne I went with Racepace item. I wanted that exhaust so bad lol.

  13. Different people have different opinions on what a good job is and what they consider perfect. I'm very fussy and a perfectionist when it comes to detailing and I can't imagine what a $100 job would look like. I have done lots of research and homework, bought all my equipment from WaxIt and final inspection cause I wanted to get into detailing myself and have a crack for a hobby. The price of product and the proper processes that need to be taken for a really good job like Antonio mentioned above as well as time taken, I see where the $1000 jobs can come from and appreciate their work, its like art. It's bloody hard work!! Without disrespect to some people here, I really can't see how a $100 job can be even considered good unless the guy doing it is insane for that price. You simply can't compare things like these. SS8_Gohan I understand and know exactly what you're trying to say here but...
  14. Is that a full custom system or off the shelf jap exhaust? I'm going down that path very soon, full custom system. Will be interesting to see my results.
  15. Lol sorry man I didn't express myself correctly, I know what you mean. I wasn't trying to say they were shit like I came across. I agree with you!
  16. I know mate, that's why I said it depends which one he has. Do you think it's worth the trouble to change the oil pump on its own? All that work! If it's the late model one just leave it, even if it's the early model pump Its not worth all the work and trouble unless doing other things too.
  17. Depends what oil pump drive you have too. If its a small shitty one then the crank has to come out to get a collar fitted. It ain't worth all this trouble on a standard motor. It's not as easy as just getting one and bolting it on. Different pumps out there to suit different applications. Best to talk to a workshop who specialise in rb motors.
  18. Depends what suits you and who's doing it. Different opinions out there as well as many options.
  19. Dude you don't have to break the pump to spin a bearing. They have oil control issues from factory which causes bearings to spin. Plus its an old engine with god knows how many km. Factory didn't do too well in that area.
  20. Oil pump is an engine out job!! Not exactly cheap to do. Might as well do a rebuild or freshen up if you're gonna pull the engine out, spun bearings are also common so might as well
  21. I bought my one stock like that too. Didn't last long!! Get some cam gears, nice exhaust with front pipes and 1 bar boost and it'll be a nice daily with about 230-240 rwkw, that's was my first stage of mods and never had a single issue. Plenty for a street car. Next was turbos (steel wheel stockies) clutch, decat and tune with power fc. This got me 287rwkw and I haven't had an issue for over 4 years now, still going strong!! But before I did any of this, I did a full major service and all fluids changed. Hope this helps.
  22. Shit, that sucks! Hopefully you'll have it up and running soon. You still gonna enter wtac? What's the plan, a built motor? The splitter and canards looked the business, hopefully they'll make a big difference. Best of luck mate, hopefully you'll get it all sorted soon.
