Haha, yeah, it took me about 3 hours all up to get all the rubber off mine. Forgot to take it off the drivers panel, so it cracked when I painted it. Havent had time to take it off again and sand all the paint off. Cbf honestly. And I did it on a manual, so I'm not sure about autos. Should be the same, shouldnt it?

Yeh, it looks too wierd with a carbon bootlid and normal bonnet, like the car is going backwards. If u get a carbon boot, better get a carbon bonnet, and the thing between the side windows, and carbon fibre mirrors. Even carbon fibre door handles and rims! And my mind has wandered off again...

Duck wing, Drift wing, D-Wing, Stealth wing, its all the same thing. EVERYONE has those on their cars. I agree they do look pretty cool, but I prefer the look of the flush fitting boot, plus its rarer, and that is what I'm looking at doing with my car, making it unique.

If your up to some work, you could graft an entirely new dash into ur car!! have you heard of the VB Commodore CHU88Y? He has a WRX dash in it!! Take some measurements of ur dash and the S13/14/15 and R33/34 dashes to see if they fit. hmmm, R32 with R35 interior...

but wot if you only drive the car 5000kms in 6 years? Best to stick to the 100,000km rule. Check ur engine bay for a timing sticker, see if it has been done yet. Chances are it hasnt. I think I have one, but its all in japanese, so I wouldnt have a clue!!

Cut a hole in ur roof with an angle grinder, then rivet some flexi-glass to it. Cheap sealant around the edges, perfect!!!

There are 2 tabs at the back of it, between the coin tray and the gear boot. Pull it up there and it should un-clip. And take ur gear knob off as well.

I wasnt going to get carbon fibre, but I think I mite now. Not sure. And ppl can smash fibre glass, but it looks exactly like a normal boot when its painted, so who would ever know? Unless u tell them of course

Some sunroofs are dodgy, but most cars dont come from the factory with a sunroof, its put in afterwards when u order it. Cant remember who does it, but they do all the manufactures sunroofs. And the sunroof shouldnt stuff up your paint. Btw, you English isnt that great.
